The new Vios coming on 19 Sep (next Friday). Now, there is an S-model on top of G and E models, no idea what is it.. Extra airbags for back-seat passengers?? Auto braking if the car detected objects on its path??

Anyway, VIOS car is nice in terms of design but space inside VIOS is cramped. The back passenger is he is any taller confirm will knock his head behind.

S is for "sports". It has additional rear spoiler, front & side skirts, maybe larger wheels. Does it go faster? Don't think so, but it is supposed to look more "sporty". :p

VIOS >> only nice looking exterior and so called very responsive engine which is very much due to the very light chassis and not the powerfull engine. But when comes to safety especially on frontal and rear impact (worst if side impacts), it was a big let down even though with the so call air bags. The chassis easily crush towards the passenger side within seconds with a 60km/h impact. Few cases involved VIOS on highways impact, almost none survive. In Japan, cars like VIOS and CITY are mainly used on trunk roads, hardly seen on Highways. Here in Malaysia, they are like thundercats on the highways...speeding close to 140~150km/h without much care of other road users. Good luck.

For that, I think get a normal VIOS and add in those "sporty" look skirting also will look the same as their 'S' model. Which also is cheaper in terms of price. Unless they say this model has got the opt of having a manual gear, 4 disc brakes, fully covered air-bag system, & other impressive features different'lah.

Manual in new cars is a rare thing these days.

True but since if they want to design it in a way to make it sporty, have to make sure also it has the power to carry along with the look'ma.

Here looks are more important than substance. Look at the mass of modified Satrias and Wiras with giant exhaust pipes, wings, spoilers, etc running on sound power. ;)

Anyway some people say why drive so fast until people cannot see how nice your car is? :D

I was at the exhaust/muffler shop yesterday to fix my car.
And then the boss told me, those loud & annoying muffler are all cheap stuffs, ranging from RM40-100.
While the good ones, which help the car breathe faster & easier but silently cost triple or more.

So Mat Rempits out there (on bike or behind wheels), pls don't think your ride is cool bcos it's loud. They are actually CHEAP.

Do you think VIOS can survive such kind of crash? Or more likely people inside? Hehehe .. anyhow, not saying VIOS is a bad car.

Well, any exhaust that helps the car breathe faster - is definitely a fuel consumption savy. Just keep it normal would do good for car and petrol.

Well, most of the europian cars in M'sia faces breakdown more than our local cars. Could that be due to weather problem or engine not meant to be in M'sia? hehe .. :D

Whatever cars that we buy should go back to the specialist of it to fix it.

Weather is an issue.

Renault owns Nissan. Hence TanChong who's the sole distributor of Nissan here also in charge of Renault's sales & services.

Imagine the authorised service centre can't handle your car!!

And those who repair their Renault outside even worse. Time in the workshop more than on the road.

Am not really a big fan of Nissan nor Renault.

Been getting few good comments on Toyota service centre. They said their service can be consider one of the 1st class type. Should be good I think.
