Travel to Egypt

Am planning a trip to Egypt in November with family and friends, by tour group.

Any friendly advice...do`s and dont`s???

I was in Cairo 2 years ago. Amazing place.
If you're on a tour group, I think they'll cover all the historical places. Pyramids of Giza, Egyptian Museum, The Citadel, etc....

Try not to buy too much perfume and papyrus. It doesnt cost that much.
Other than that, people are generally friendly. Just stick with the guides....

Hi Daniella,

I was in Egypt nearly two years ago for about a month. We didn't take a tour, we just 'winged' it and went wherever we felt like. We managed to see the main sites, plus see places 'off the beaten track'. I won't go into the details here, but if you have any questions, please message me.

Same here, I just winged it as well. I was alone and my best friend was a tripod.
