I am looking for a hall in West of Klang Valley (PJ/Taman Tun/West KL)to hold a conference that can hold about 500 audience.

Anyone has any suggestions? And their rates for a weeknight event? Am working on very tight budget, though...

Thanks birdy. That's a good suggestion, indeed. Didn't cross my mind before. But I hope I can afford their rates.Browsed their website no such info. Will call them today.

Cheers.

What about The Summit Auditorium in The Summit USJ or even 3K Complex in Subang Jaya or even the Subang Jaya Community Hall in SS15? :D

TPM Auditorium at Technology Park, Bukit Jalil..

Thanks for the suggestion, sarawakian. Summit Auditorium can seat only 350pax. Furthermore, Subang Jaya is not favoured as the traffic can be horrendous at that time of the evening, esp. for people coming from the east end of KL

I have contacted Menara TM today and will contact PJ Civic Center, MAS Academy, Kelana Jaya and TPM Bukit Jalil, tomorrow.

Thank you all for the leads.

Maybe you would like to share some info of your searching here such as their capacity and pricing... for the benefit of the forumers all? ;) Thank you in advance.

Totally agree with birdy. I have said this before and I want to say all over again here one more time. There are people who came to our forum begging for help as if we owe them a living and as usual, we generous good hearted folks heap up him/her our knowledge and experiences and then that guy just walk away happily some of them without saying a thank you let alone come back here and report about his/her findings. Very rarely one would come back and make our day. I will always remember that person Mr. Woo (http://www.usj.com.my/bulletin/upload/showthread.php?t=17454&highlight=found) who found his family tree after losing track of them 48 years (http://www.usj.com.my/bulletin/upload/showthread.php?t=17599) ago, came back here to share the great news and made my day. I hope Harmony will do that honour for us.

I'm pleased to share info gathered.

Only received responses from PJ Civic Center and KGPA, thus far.

1. PJ Civic Center
Seating capacity:500
Rates: RM5000 for 9 hours; RM4000 for 5 hour-rental.

2. KGPA Hall
Seating capacity: 400
Rates: RM800 (less 20% for members)

Looks like I don't have to go any farther..... :p
