I'm scouting out the possibility of hiring someone to teach a 9 year old boy in USJ1 to read. He knows his alphabet, can write beautifully but he can't read.

If anyone is interested could they let me know how much they would charge to visit him 2 or 3 afternoons a week for a 30 minute reading lesson (in English please!)?

Please email me at ew AT lepak.com.

Thanks,
Ellen

I went to the Home where the 9 year old boy who needs to learn to read lives and had a long talk with the guardian there. After this discussion we have refined our requirements and changed them a little.

There are 3 kids in the home who need to learn to read and write. Matthew, another boy of the same age, and one girl aged 8.

We need someone to come to the home in USJ1/2 twice or three times a week to teach them to read and write - but we've decided to start them off in Bahasa Malaysia as this is the language kids their age need in school.

As the kids can't afford to lag behind at this age, we are looking for a professional teacher.

Could anyone interested let me know their charges per month for 2 or 3 one hour hour lessons a week at the Home? PM me or contact me through ew AT lepak.com

Thanks,
Ellen

I know one whom I highly recommended. She specialised in kids with learning disability. I am paying her about RM50.00 per-hour 1-2-1 coaching. Not sure whether she is ok with teaching 3 kids at one go. Keen? PM me for the number
