I'm looking into purchasing a unit at suriamas for investment.

I'm looking to rent my condo to students here @ RM 1500, though i heard that recently that rental has dropped to only RM 1200 and lower.

Any advise from residents here :D

Interesting that you would want to consider Suriamas to rent to Students. Based on the map location, there are more colleges around the subang parade/carrefour areas, where there are strata apartments coming out. Personally, I think you have better catchment area there than Suriamas.

no la dear, cpleong mean e-tiara, that block of concrete building next to carrefour subang. For your info, there are another 2-3 blocks of serviced apartment in construction in that vicinity.

Anyway, if I'm a student in Taylor Business School I would stay in Mentari Court (only next to TBS) and rent is around RM600 - 800.

If I'm a student in Sunway Monash, I will stay around those Palm Spring condos or the nearby ones which are aplenty.

If I'm a student in Segi College, I would rent a house/apartment in usj2 or usj6, near to college or near to taipan, the center of the universe (re: lord).

Somehow, I think supply more than demand if you are looking at renting to students.
