Dear Friends

June 5 is recognized as World Environment Day.

It is a day where people can sit back and recognize the challenges that we are facing.

Our lifestyles are causing damage to our environment, to other species, and even to other people.

The choices that we make will affect the people around us, and make a difference for generations to come.

So, consider...what changes will you make in your life, beginning this World Environment Day?

In my case, among other things I will do my best to stop purchasing bottled water. Instead, I will carry water with me. I will also encourage the college to install more drinking fountains and taps around the campus....and start a proper waste diversion and recycling program.

What will you do?

Cheers, m

Err buddy AllUrban...for a short while there after reading the title of the thread...the 1st thing that came to mind...was whether you would include...a quit smoking drive or quit open burning awareness or something like that...phew!

Luckily Orchi is spared...

Nonetheless...here's Orchi's 2 kupangs...would be nice if the poll was multiple choice one...err...quit smoking aside that is.

Conserving energy n fresh water resources...gets 2 thumbs up!

Actually I did think on conserving my energy by doing less around the house :D but Mrs. EC wouldn't hear of it........ :o she's not very environmentally friendly you see. :p
Eeeeeeeee, I hope she's not lurking about the forum and reading this.....................

Eeeeeeeee, I hope she's not lurking about the forum and reading this.....................well, as long as you dont think to conserve water by not bathing........

Orchi, I actually wanted to have multiple choices but I couldnt edit the poll after it was created...

Of course, can start again, ask the banana man to delete and start again...and of course, must compost the banana peels, make really fresh healthy soil for the garden...
