Subject: [SPAM] RE: Please resolve the traffic woo at USJ3 junction

Dear xxxxxx,

I have noticed the traffic. I shall ask MPSJ to look into it. There are many MPSJ staff who stays in USJ 3 including our former YDP, Dato Arif who is now the State Financial Officer.

Bye.

I hate to bring up this issue again but really... the traffic congestion at USJ3 and USJ4 exits really piss me up... I am sure many who stays at this area will experience the same issue.

For those not aware of the congestion, I would like to briefly describe the situation.... the congestion occurs normally btw 8am to 9am. What happened here is irresponsible drivers trying to jump queue, drove into the incoming traffic lane, causing the people entering USJ3 got stuck at the junction. As a result, the outgoing cars would also got stuck due to the immovable incoming traffic... sometimes, the queue could easily hold you back for 20 ~ 30mins!

I hope Adun will really push the MPSJ to look into this issue. My suggestion would be to open up one exit for USJ3 residents (in btw the SS19 bridge and the existing USJ3 exit) and anther exit for USJ4 residents (in btw the Shell/Petronas kiosk and the existing USJ3 exit). Well, of course this is merely a suggestion... I am sure our calibre Adun will have better solution is resolving this problem.

Anyone staying in USJ3 or USJ4 would like to share his experience or maybe give some recommendations?

err.. mammoth, u stay in north pole also got jam ah? :D

no matter how many opening or exit u built at ur area also will get jam bcos i think a big % of cars using that exit is not from USJ3 or 4 but from other area who use it to bypass the jln tujuan (usj3) traffic light jam, so u can either built another bridge to sj n onto federal hw or close that exit and everyone can use the long way out through the back ;)

my suggestion is to close two of this 4 points junction...
both junctions from USJ3 and USJ4 should close...

the heavy load at that junction is partially caused by the cars trying to come out from both sides...
cars from USJ4 will normally jammed up the cars that want to enter the junction from Persiaran Tujuan...

and 4 points junction like this is very confusing...
drivers may just stopped longer cause they are confused, which side to go first...

 If these junctions were to close, then which route will the residents staying in USJ 3 or 4 for exit / enter then? Don't tell me the one near USJ 12?

My 2 cents would be to make one of the two exit become 1 way... that is one is solely for exits whilst one solely for entering. The rest of the traffic flow, leave it to the MPSJ to think loh.... :o

If you're staying there, you shld know the traffic condition in front of SM USJ12 school. Don't compromise for this entrance alone, coz' its gonna be "horrible terrible" traffic to your homes via this entrance, when the Batu 3 flyover is ready! Its bad enough already now.

Looks like no where is safe & without traffic anymore. Even some of our doorsteps are not spared!

If you can, talk to your JKP zone leader & ask them to help you recommend some suggestions to the "au to ri tee". DO NOT wait for the "au to ri tee" for solutions.

Just wanna share my experience...they did NOT even know or may have misinterpreted some of their own standards. Almost got conned into accepting. Luckily, found out beforehand & now they say they DO NOT have technical experience!

(even though different problem, but we're all dealing with the same people)

my 2 cents,

where ever you stay, you will not escape traffic jam. If you want to escape the jam, then leave early to work, i.e. 6am or even 5am... sure no jam at that time...or move next to your office, then we no need worry about traffic jam and we get to sleep longer :P

we should understand that thats the peak hours..even you ask MPSJ or any local council, they will study the traffic flow. So what is the point of wasting 'rakyat' money just to cater the 8am - 9am time frame? Then for sure all of us will make this a big issue.
