View Full Version : Jaring = Snail connection ??

I have a slow internet connection last friday, so i make a report to jaring, over the phone, they told me that there is something wrong in my side, and some one call me later when i am out of my office, i told him my problem...
On saturday, nothing change...they say they will get intouch with me on monday...
On sunday... still the same..and i have some urgent mail to send out., is midnight then so out of no choice, i have to go to cyber cafe to set a 'malaysia recod' of sending an email at RM1.00... :mad: :mad: :mad:
On monday,still the same.... i call them again in the afternoon..They told me they have problem in the transmition tower in summit.. I insisted to speak to the person in charge...they told me that they will getback to me asp.. untill now i received no phone call from jaring..
This morning i do a bandwidth test..

Haha....I thought no one would complain n just bear with it like me. Jaring dial-up suxx .....really suxx...for whatever reasons known to them. Hardly able to log on n most often will give a PPP error message. After umpteen attempt , if manage to log in , will sure enough get disconnected halfway through the browsing or loading.
Desperate....sometimes dialup to TMnet 1315 service which cost 4sen a minute and can surf till pocket full of holes without any disconnection problem.
So...is it Jaring or Telekom giving jaring problem..?

Alan ....you can just dial-up TMnet 1315 with a modem on a telekom landline anywhere in malaysia..if not mistaken. No username or password necessary as you are charged at 4sen a minute onto phone bill of the number use to call. Use this as a backup connection ...pay as you use only..

My jaring connection is wireless broadband which cost me RM 99.00 per month
(prepaid ) and i am suppost to get 1 Mbps..... :mad: :mad: :mad:

Join the club. I'm on the JWB as well and their service started to suck from last year 3rd quarter till now. Now it's rather erratic and the speeds are disappointingly slow. I've personally written to their CEO and cc the Gov't Body, CMC.

I'm really dissappointed with all the broadband service providers, poor service...and they still wanna roll out WiMAX when they can't even get the basics right.

Who are they trying to kid, at the end of the day? ....and poor consumers like us get ripped off and suffer.

As for me, I shall terminate my service once my contract's over!

got better connection this morning... but don't know how long this will last.. :p i hope they keep their promise that the service will be fully recover by this friday... :rolleyes:
