Sugarfree

kokomo
10-05-2007, 11:43 PM
Sorry peeps, was in a hurry to go off .... :o

Ok, here's the question ...

Would you travel afar to go see someone you really missed? Or you would just stay back here and wait for their home coming?

coleslaw
10-05-2007, 11:51 PM
if i can afford it..i'll go...

you?

Sugarfree
10-05-2007, 11:52 PM
same here.

is money all that important?

coleslaw
10-05-2007, 11:54 PM
would be a lie if i say no.. but it's should not be an obstacle, a hurdle or an obssession..

you?

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 12:00 AM
i think it's important. as long as no one is hurt in my acquiring it, then i want lotsa (it)!

let's say, someone pays you a big sum of cash to betray a casual acquaintance. would you do it? :D

coleslaw
11-05-2007, 12:03 AM
no...not that i'm good or holier than thou..but there's something i would not compromised on..won't even do it to my enemies! :D

your take?

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 12:07 AM
nope, i won't do it either. it's gotta be uh..clean money.

would you trust a person who seems to be overly hamsap in a forum? :D

coleslaw
11-05-2007, 12:14 AM
hahaha...no..no..no.. :p

what do you think?

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 12:26 AM
you shud learn to be more trusting. nonetheless, bring with you a pepper spray shud you decide to meet the person...just in case. :p

i dunno. very seldom hamsap female forumers lurk in here. ;)

describe your worst nightmare.

coleslaw
11-05-2007, 09:21 AM
that would be a nightmare...describing my nightmare!! :p

please share..

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 09:26 AM
my worst nightmare? hmm...can't really think of one really scary one. once something pops up, will fill you in. :)

meantime, next question: what was your favourite subject in school?

coleslaw
11-05-2007, 09:31 AM
was BM!..due to upbringing and surrounding i was very fluent (still am) in the language and the teacher,a chinese, was superb..in fact i'm still in touch with her and she lives in USJ!..

yours...

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 09:34 AM
english! i am surprised for you it ain't english coz you write in flawess english.

how did your english get to be so good?

coleslaw
11-05-2007, 09:38 AM
flawless?..don't think so..i used to read alot when i had more time then..also i've a pretty active social life..so i guess that also help..

you?

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 09:42 AM
thanks to hardy boys and stuff (don't read them anymore! :p ) and bascially speaking in english whenever i can, even with a chinaman if he's willing! :p

do you speak in english with a friend who's chinese (i'm assuming you're chinese) or do you converse in chinese?

coleslaw
11-05-2007, 09:48 AM
generally yes..even with siblings...and my kids..but i throw in a sprinkling of cantonese with chinese friends( still trying to be fluent in that dialect)..likewise with malay friends, a mix of malay/english...

you?

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 09:50 AM
english mostly but with malay friends who aren't fluent in english, then i'd go billingual..you know, broken BM and english. :D

you don't speak chinese as fluently as you do english?

coleslaw
11-05-2007, 09:55 AM
no..my dialect is 'sin neng'..similar to cantonese but different intonation..only speak that with the elders.. i'm a dead duck if i have to carry out a full conversation in that dialect or any dialect for that matter!

you?

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 10:03 AM
my cantonese is considered ok la.

have you tried bungee jumping?

coleslaw
11-05-2007, 10:08 AM
i've major problem with heights/speed..no bungee/roller coasters..i also do not like needles..so no tattooing too! :D

you?

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 10:12 AM
roller coasters, i don't mind. bungee jumping? i am not suicidal yet, so i'll pass. :p

when was the last time you visited a dentist?

coleslaw
11-05-2007, 10:14 AM
i do it every 6 months..don't like it too but the fear of being toothless is greater!.. :)

you?

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 10:34 AM
as long as i can put it off! there's already a pain in one of my teeth..i guess i can't put it off for too long.

which is your regular dentist?

kokomo
11-05-2007, 11:26 AM
my very gentle and good dentist used to be in taipan but now i don't hv a specific ...

must the question always ends back with you? can we hv other alternative questions? hehehe ....

coleslaw
11-05-2007, 12:29 PM
of course you can..but there are some interesting questions asked which i also wanna know the other party's take on it...hence the YOU!!!
:D
kokomo, please go ahead and ask yr question..

orchipalar
11-05-2007, 04:32 PM
Err...Kokomo ain't any question yet.

When your spouse or partner comes home late...without telling where he or she has been the whole night...would you ask where he or she has been...or whom he or she has been with the whole night?

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 05:43 PM
nope. it's all about trust.

would you, my friend? :D

coleslaw
11-05-2007, 06:02 PM
no..never have... cos i'm the one who's always coming home late! :p

orchi yr take on it since it's also yr question..

kokomo
11-05-2007, 06:10 PM
Haha .. I'm always coming home late. So mom will ask me where I go. Otherwise come home and go out again .. sigh, always plenty of questions to be asked by our parents.

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 06:17 PM
Your question, ah? :D

kokomo
11-05-2007, 06:26 PM
my question same as coleslaw .. waitin' for Orchi to answer.

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 10:23 PM
looks like orchi's not coming in tonight. may probably be busy with a brunette somewhere. ;)

what do you think of american idol this week? (i'd say the contestants did not choose the right songs to sing. there are so many awesome bee gees songs but they chose the lesser known ones. duh.)

orchipalar
11-05-2007, 11:36 PM
Err...sorry to have kept everyone waiting...was indeed tiep up the whole day.

Ahem...not that wifey has ever been out late...without telling where she would be before hand...n not that she has ever made Orchi worried about her whereabouts or whom she would be with when being out late n all...but nevertheless...Orchi has not seen the need nor has any reasons to.

Carry on...

Sugarfree
11-05-2007, 11:58 PM
dei, the current question is:

what do you think of american idol this week? (i'd say the contestants did not choose the right songs to sing. there are so many awesome bee gees songs but they chose the lesser known ones. duh.) :D

orchipalar
12-05-2007, 09:35 AM
Err...Blake survives for the time being...simply because he is the only male singer left in the competition...receiving some extra sympathetic votes from his female teen fans...after making a complete mockery of Bee Gees' songs.

In no way he is a better singer than Lakisha lah...n popularity wise...he is way behind Sanjaya's.

You really got me. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKF6TGQjasE)

Isn't he hotter than Blake?

coleslaw
12-05-2007, 10:03 AM
hotter, no.. but i like sanjaya i do think he can sing but his genre is limited..blake, comes across as a redneck to me..he'll be out this week, for sure..

who do you think will be the next american idol?

Sugarfree
12-05-2007, 06:38 PM
initially i was betting my money on Melinda but she hasn't exactly been impressive the last couple of weeks..so, i dunno...i guess Jordin stands a pretty good chance, too. will see. :D

your thoughts?

orchipalar
13-05-2007, 12:02 AM
Err...Jordin is on her right path to be the next American Idol...n super stardom...n she would be the youngest American Idol so far.

Do you still find Paula Abdul sexy?

Sugarfree
13-05-2007, 12:07 AM
only when she is in her wonderbra! (did you see her on stage with ryan during the Idol Gives Back broadcast?)

you?

coleslaw
13-05-2007, 07:51 PM
which question? do i find her sexy or did i see her in idol give back? :D ..no i don't find her sexy...more of a cuckoo with her incoherent blabbering..wonder what she puts in her water.. :D

i feel now jordan will win the idol...there are lots of subtle reminders that's she's only 17 and sings so well. melinda with her 'deer caught in the headlight' look is wearing a bit thin..

the final 2 will be...?

Sugarfree
13-05-2007, 08:34 PM
melinda n jordin.

what is the 1st thing jordin should do if she wins?

jianwei85
13-05-2007, 10:09 PM
A: jordin shall go for a swim

Q: y does the apple fall on newton's head?

kokomo
13-05-2007, 10:21 PM
I hv no idea what toking you.

When is the karaoke session that you're suppose to organise? It has been delaying for more than a year already now.

jianwei85
13-05-2007, 10:26 PM
A: Sorry. I will get to it after tying up some loose ends in a months time.

Q: Why did the durian not fall on Newton's head?

Sugarfree
13-05-2007, 11:29 PM
because newton was smart enough not to stand under a durian tree? :D

oh, btw, jian, your answer to the question about what jordin would do if she won was wrong. the correct answer is that with all the $$$, she would sign up for a slimming course! :p :p (antonella, where are you?)

what did you do for your mom today?

coleslaw
14-05-2007, 09:37 AM
nothing. mom away on a holiday!.. :D

and you..

Sugarfree
14-05-2007, 09:52 AM
yesterday? no, did nothing. i'd have gotten slaughtered if i did anything yesterday.:p :D i actually bought her a nice big dinner last week.

which is more important to you? mother's day or father's day?

coleslaw
14-05-2007, 09:55 AM
dad has passed away..we did mother's day dinner last week too...

how often do you see yr parents..( if they are staying with you)

Sugarfree
14-05-2007, 07:15 PM
dad's gone a long time ago. mom's staying with my bro in his brand new apartment. just saw her yesterday, actually.

which is your fave shopping mall and why?

coleslaw
14-05-2007, 08:14 PM
probably one utama...everything and every brands under 1 roof..parking is easy(weekdays)..

would you visit a shopping mall to while away time or only when you need to buy something?..

Sugarfree
14-05-2007, 08:21 PM
when i need to feast my eyes on some eye candy! (how come you missed out on the most probable option? :p )

have you eaten at meaty house, Taipan? on a scale of 1 to 5, what'd be your rating?

coleslaw
14-05-2007, 08:30 PM
not yet...so far at taipan, i'm still very partial to las caretas...if i do entertain,it's usually there..good food, service and margaritas! what more can one ask for? :)

meaty house anyone?

Sugarfree
14-05-2007, 08:40 PM
hmmm...looks like it's real quiet here tonight. perhaps we skip the meaty house question for now. :)

where's everyone? :D

coleslaw
14-05-2007, 08:48 PM
guess they have a life or are caught in the infamous traffic jam! being jobless sure feels good now... :D

yr take?

Sugarfree
14-05-2007, 09:13 PM
they are watching tv probably...then come in 30 minutes b4 heading for bed :)

this week on american idol, who do you think will be voted out?

coleslaw
14-05-2007, 09:15 PM
blake( fingers crossed)..

you?

Sugarfree
14-05-2007, 09:17 PM
same here. i'm convinced he'll be out, too. (great minds think alike!)

who will be american idol?

coleslaw
14-05-2007, 09:22 PM
jordin( fingers crossed again)....

you?

Sugarfree
14-05-2007, 09:39 PM
initially i was betting my $$$ on melinda but she has not really performed up to expectations lately. so, i dunno, it may well be 17 year jordin.

what happened to malaysian idol? why has it been discontinued?

coleslaw
14-05-2007, 09:42 PM
initially it was to make way for one in a million...now i don't know..i'm just quoting the station press release!.. :D no i don't work there..

which you rather..one in a million or malaysian idol?

Sugarfree
14-05-2007, 09:48 PM
neither. :D

you? and why.

coleslaw
14-05-2007, 09:56 PM
though one in a million or malaysian idol is probably better than, say akademi fantasia,
i don't really follow any either. i don't find them as interesting nor as entertaining as american idol..just me..

do you think/feel patrick teoh is THE guy in radioland?..

orchipalar
14-05-2007, 09:58 PM
Err...one in a million Orchi...of course lah.

Sugarfree

There is a new casino in Macau opening or I think have already opened, so would you travel all the way there to see it?

Sugarfree
15-05-2007, 07:19 AM

R u referring to some get togethers organized by some of you fellas where males and females mix together freely to do the karaoke and then some? (don’t let Pas know!http://smilies.vidahost.com/otn/blobs/trq_md_wht.gif) If so, that’s easy. One of you have to make an extra effort to get one going again. The ladies just need an excuse to get out there and karaoke is just that excuse (they need to give their moms, if nothing else). http://smilies.vidahost.com/otn/happy/smily005.gif

Hey me too. I waited and I waited for my true love to appear and then we got married. (have to say that in case Mrs. EC is lurking about) :D
To answer your question, no lah I didn't. My first childhood ambition that I can remember is that I wanted to be a pilot. Unfortunately, very bad eyesight and an irrational fear of heights put paid to that idea. :p

I don't remember my 1st kiss but the kiss that i remember most was with my bf in college. I had already been kissed b4 by others...Wow. Way ta go, girl.

Would you marry a virgin? It depends on one's inclinations. If I subscribed to the "teacher-student" school of thought, then 'yes'. Otherwise, no. At the end of the day, if there's s***al chemistry and both partners are imaginative and adventurous, then I can foresee a long term relationship. If not, uh..there may be trouble. Unless both do not see **x is a necessity, which is highly unlikely.

(This question is open all those who went thru what Sasha experienced.)

When you said blown away by the first kiss...did you mean it as in it made your heart beat faster than usual, your seeing stars and for that moment, perhaps, you felt you..uh...loved him more than ever before? Or was it a kiss that made you...uh...wanted more? (you know what i mean :p )

Sasha

If alone, I'll go home, make myself a steaming hot cup of coffee and settle done to watch any old sci-fi / fantasy type programme (currently re-watching old episodes of Star Trek DS9). :)
If with friends, then by drinking copious amounts of beer and/or whatever alcoholic beverage is available. :D

Do u prefer a beach holiday or winter snowy ski mountain holiday?

Sugarfree

winter snowy ski mountain holiday, definitely. and preferably with a hot chick who could melt ice.

your take on it?

Sasha

Love the winter ski resort holidays. Nice fireplace, curling up under the thick blanket with someone who'd warm your heart, a nice warm drink, and watching the snow fall slowly.... whatever that follows.. hmmmm.... :) (heat it up baby!)

Where do you think I should migrate apart from Australia?

orchipalar

Err...other than Australia? due to its diversities...no other places could match it...but if you don't mind the colder winters...Canada should be ideal.

Carry on...
