How come you got my gal fren's photo??? Say! If not I'll snip off your xxxx :D Buy me a drink and I'll tell you but you have to promise me to stay cool ... ;) :p :D. Btw, did you see the TV series where she played the role of a materialistic girl who changed boyfriends as frequently as she bought clothes? She looked stunning in there. ;). Here's another picture of Fala.

Can't answer your question for two reasons. One, I don't eat durians. Two, I'm not a Muslim. :D
Let the others have a go. Anyone?
Dervish

Who tried eating during Ramadhan before(for Muslim)? :D
If I'm a non-Muslim, I can't answer your question. If I'm a Muslim, I won't answer your question. Either way, you're dead in the water. :D:D:D
So new question.

Sorry but roast duck is hardly my favourite. I dislike its "muddy" taste which is most obvious in the breast meat.
At which time are you most creative?

Beer is the worst health-wise? I can't argue with that. But it's a good tasting drink and you can't argue with that too! :p
Carlsberg is good but 2 jugs later and a spinning head, I don't really care! :D:D
Your favourite beer is from..?

No. Bah Kut teh is the worst health-wise. That's what I meant.

What is your idea of a super weekend? All alone on top of a hill taking in the fresh air, the sights and the sounds with no one getting in your way? Throw in a good book while you're at it? Or spending time at home watching TV with the children running riot in the house screaming at the top of their lungs? :D:D. If those descriptions do not match your idea of a super weekend, please enlighten us.:D:D:D

We need to qualify 'fantasy weekend' here. Would that be with or without you-know-who!(It just dawned on me where you were going with that. :D "Fantasy weekend" could mean different things to different people. Give us your interpretation and it shall be fine. There is no right or wrong. Just naughty, naughtier or naughtiest!! Ok, sorry, couldn't resist that one. :D:D )
My fantasy weekend looks something like this. Imagine the deep blue ocean. Gentle waves. Hot sun. Nice sporty looking yacht (owned by a man who has just thrown his fishing line into the waters.) A family chilling onboard. Children enjoying a swim in the indoor pool. Wifey on her iPhone telling friends of her amazing outdoor adventure. And me with my fishing rod trying to land a big one. The adventure continues...until I wake up to find I'm terribly late for work!!

This is the scenario. You are out having a nice little dinner all by yourself when suddenly a ragged old man appeared at your table, thrust a dirty open palm right into your face, without a word. Out of the goodness of your heart, you gave him a $100 note. (Your usual is not more than RM10) You carried on with your food, paid your bills, walked towards your car, which...darn it, was parked some place real secluded. The old man suddenly reappeared, told you he's an angel and grants you one supernatural gift. No, you can't be a superhero, that's the condition. What will you choose?

All good things comes to an end, so yes, it is possible that the Sun may burn itself out ...one day...

Is there life on other planets, you think?
Dervish
21-08-2010, 01:18 PM
I found out not two days ago that there is such a thing as you would call "Hellish Planet" among Hindu believers. Those must be your average alien life-form, if it exist. But since the after-life are divided along racial lines, I doubt if any of the aliens at the "Hellish Planet" will have anything to do with the likes of you, assuming of course, that you are not Hindu......and ....*blushing*....if you are....sorry, sorry, I stand corrected......*red faced*
Jokes aside....Yes, I think the probability is very high...that there is life-form in other planets. I mean, if all it takes to make us is nitrogen and hydrogen, think of the immense permutation that comes with the likes of these....*goes into pensive mode*.....yes...I do think that other life-forms exist....I do..*gets out of pensive mode*..:D:D
But what do you think?
QuietStorm
21-08-2010, 01:47 PM
Yes, I believe there should be, although they won't look anything like what we see on the silver screen. Haha. Those are creations from man's vivid imagination. The day we see an alien, I'm convinced we will be totally awe-struck. Their looks will turn out to be so different from what we have envisaged all this while. Think about that. The possibilities are endless.

Saving Private Ryan.
Do you like watching war movies?
Dervish
29-08-2010, 06:28 PM
Depends on the plot. Behind Enemy Lines was good. Saving Private Ryan was too draggy. Didn't like Black Hawk Down. Windtalker is extremely nice.
and you?
Doodles
29-08-2010, 11:49 PM
It all depends on a few factors. One, a good story. Two, it has to be on original DVD or Blur ray. Three, big TV screen. Four, good surround home theatre system. In the absence of any one of the above, I'd rather skip the movie. Watch a comedy instead. :D
I found the opening 27 minutes of Saving Private Ryan to be an intense cinematic experience. And thanks to the surround sound, I was drawn right into the battle. Bullets were whizzing left, right and centre and above! And the explosions!! Wow. Engrossing.
I did not watch Windtalker. Should I?
Dervish
30-08-2010, 08:58 AM
Windtalker? You should. Always liked Nicholas Cage after seeing him in Conair and The Rock. True what you said about the ambience. Had too many distractions while watching Saving Private Ryan so didn't really know what the whole movie was about. Long too.
Sir Anthony Hopkins. How do you find him?

To enjoy watching Saving Private Ryan (not to be confused with Saving Ryan's Privates ;) ) you've to watch it with no interruptions...yes, you got that correct. Plus the factors I mentioned earlier. :D

Because they think they could. That's the trouble. It's called ego. Once I had a neighbor who squeals like a turkey on her karaoke every afternoon. She was the most annoying little idiot (excuse the language) this part of Bolehland, let me tell yuh!

Then, that first man would be YOU going back in time to see YOU emerging from the future. :D ...definitely cool.... Hi Adam!
The question is flawed. When you're killed by a vampire, you turned into one. No way of choosing the modus operandi unless you're talking about the new age vampire which can turn into vampire by a jab into the jugular veins administered by Doctor Cullen? (Twilight, the movie). If there isn't a choice, then the jab, please.

(Sir VP, you're in a hot pot now! :D:D )
Humans have many needs. The need for food, the need for attention, the need for love and so on. One thing is for sure, if those needs are not fulfilled at home, one will go out to look for them. Those "fun" seeking women are not getting the "fun" at home, hence they look elsewhere, away from home sweet home. In a relationship, couples should try their utmost to satisfy each other's needs or else .. uh oh! TroUble!
Some guys say it's their God-given right to have "fun" wherever they stop for coffee (:D ) married or otherwise. How should women dEal with those guys?

Don't you find texting on the iPhone while driving problematic, if not impossible? Not that I would encourage one to do such a thing, of course! :D
Dervish
09-09-2010, 11:06 AM
Definitely.
Chopsticks, spoons or fingers.....with dinner?
bzjude
09-09-2010, 11:50 AM
Depends on what I'm eating but I'm ok with all.
Are you visiting anyone during Raya?
Dervish
09-09-2010, 11:59 AM
No.
Are you?
(missed all those rendangs and ketupats etc...though):D
Doodles
09-09-2010, 05:05 PM
No.
Your favourite Raya dish?
Dervish
09-09-2010, 05:10 PM
ayam rendang with peanut sauce and kerisik....gee...I'm HUNGRY...big time!
and yours?
Doodles
09-09-2010, 05:30 PM
Ayam rendang and daging. Your're hungry? Well, you're not alone. I'm famished! Could eat an entire cow! :D:D
Which is the best place for a short holiday this Raya?
Dervish
09-09-2010, 05:32 PM
I'm still working on that. Had to be someplace not congested.
Any suggestion?
Doodles
09-09-2010, 06:10 PM
Not congested? That's easy. Kuala Lumpur lah!! :D:D
Have you slaughtered a chicKen before?
Dervish
09-09-2010, 06:10 PM
No.
Have you?
Doodles
09-09-2010, 06:18 PM
Never. The day I slaughter a chicken that's the day I become a vegetarian. :D
Have you killed a cow before?
Dervish
09-09-2010, 06:25 PM
No. They're too big. I'm pretty handy with cockroaches though.
Have you seen a snake being skinned before?.......kakakakakakaka......echos away
Doodles
09-09-2010, 06:34 PM
I think I have but had to look away. Looks like I am not cut out to be a killer. :D
Have you?
Dervish
09-09-2010, 07:46 PM
Why, yes, I have.
Would you participate in a rally to explore Malaysia by road?
Doodles
09-09-2010, 11:02 PM
Sounds like a brilliant idea but I lack the "kakis". I hope to one day embark on such a rally. It's unlimited fun!
You?
Dervish
10-09-2010, 09:01 AM
Yes but only if someone else does all that organizing.
Would you?
Doodles
10-09-2010, 10:11 AM
No. Too much hassle. I'm a lazy bum. :D
Who would you like to be in the rally? Your good (tea-drinking? :D )buddies or your wife and children?
Dervish
10-09-2010, 10:29 AM
Preferably both. The wives and kids can get together while the tea-drinking buddies have their tea in peace....ahh...heavenly.
Do you jungle trek?
No, have done that for a long time.
same question
Doodles
10-09-2010, 10:38 AM
Twice if I recall correctly. Once was while I was in school, the last time in 2009.
Did you videotape any of your jungle trekking adventures?
Dervish
10-09-2010, 10:53 AM
Unfortunately, no.
Did you?
Doodles
10-09-2010, 01:54 PM
Yes. It will be priceless in 10 years and beyond. Whoever invented the video camera deserves to be a millionaire if he is not one already, that is. :D
When are you starting your game of football on the Federal Highway?
Dervish
10-09-2010, 04:00 PM
Tonight, in my dream.
Do you snore?
Doodles
10-09-2010, 04:45 PM
The last I checked, no. :D
What about you?
Dervish
10-09-2010, 09:52 PM
I thought so unless I'm dreaming.
Can you read Mandarin?
Doodles
10-09-2010, 10:27 PM
If you believe that I'm only 25-only if you do-then, yes, I can read Mandarin. :D:D
And you?
Dervish
11-09-2010, 09:56 AM
I can read my name. *looks uppity for a sec*...:D:D
Can you?
Doodles
11-09-2010, 10:04 AM
I can but kind of blurry on how my second name is written! :o :D
Have you been buying mooncakes?
Dervish
11-09-2010, 10:16 AM
Not yet, but I'm already sick of it. Friends and relatives love to give me mooncakes. If you're thinking of giving me a boxful, don't!!...
Will you?
Doodles
11-09-2010, 10:23 AM
I have never quite liked mooncakes. They are too sweet and way too expensive. One cost more than RM10 in most cases and that is w h a t-the-curry-puff?! :D:D
No, I will not buy low value for money gifts for my friends. :D
Food that you eat once a year and loving it. Anything comes to mind?
Dervish
11-09-2010, 10:31 AM
I don't recall ever torturing myself with once-a-year type of food. I eat like there's no tomorrow...*grins*...some eat to live, I live to eat....*another grin*
Anything comes to mind for you?
Doodles
11-09-2010, 10:44 AM
I have to say it's lemang. In my place I don't see the delicacy being sold at other times except during Raya. And the funny thing is I only crave for it during Raya. All's well that ends well huh? :D:D
Do you think children grow up faster now than say in the 60/70's?
Dervish
11-09-2010, 10:57 AM
If you mean physically, I don't see how that is achievable. Mentally, I'll have to agree. Their exposure is different. I think they have less fun in the process.
What say you?
Doodles
11-09-2010, 11:02 AM
Sorry, didn't make myself clear. Yes, I meant mentally. Kids these days know so much compared to their counterparts a few decades ago. For one thing, they swear now even at Std 3!! Can you fancy that?
Do your children swear? :D:D
Dervish
11-09-2010, 11:10 AM
Never....OK...not that I know of....:D What were the exact phrase the Std 3 kids used?
Does yours?
Doodles
11-09-2010, 11:18 AM
It isn't a phrase. It's just one word. The one word that says it all!
No, they don't though their friends do.
What's on the menu (lunch) today? :D:D
*Got to run. Cheerio!*
Dervish
11-09-2010, 07:25 PM
Lunch today is Yong Tau Foo with CCF
Is Inception worth watching?
Doodles
11-09-2010, 10:31 PM
Should be but I haven't watched it yet. But to plonk down a good RM10 to watch it...well, I'm not sure about that. Will certainly watch it on DVD later.
What do you think?
Dervish
12-09-2010, 01:21 PM
I'm told I shouldn't miss it because it is an intellectual piece of work. Trying mincing that! I suppose it meant that if you don't watch it, you're not intellectual....:D:D .....I think I'll wait for the DVD version too because it's probably one of those movies you have to see a few times to understand....*sighs*
Have you ever tried those black horny nut only available during the mooncake festivities?
Doodles
12-09-2010, 05:08 PM
A long long time ago, yes. If I am not mistaken they are called "lin kwok". Don't recall enjoying them all that much though.
Have you eaten thEm lately?
Dervish
12-09-2010, 05:10 PM
Never tasted them before, to tell you the honest truth.
Should I?
Doodles
12-09-2010, 05:26 PM
You missed nothing. Forget it. :D
Who would you rather have a conversation with on a cool rainy Sunday afternoon? A kindly matured lady in her 50's or a sweet yOung thing?
Dervish
12-09-2010, 06:25 PM
Why choose one when you can have two?....:D:D....I'd prefer the one with intellect, whom you can argue intelligently with, until the cows come home. Age is not a factor in a good decent conversation.
And you?
