Anyone has any idea where one can invest in REIT? (Errr..if not mistaken it is Real Estate Investment Trust). I don't seem to come across agents (like mutual funds agent) selling? Is there any special criteria for this REIT or maybe it is not open to public?

one of the way available to invest directly to REITs is via the KLSE. there are many available in the market since the inception of REITs since 2006(?). Go to the Star online biz section and find the REITs listing over the past couple of years. This would give you a head start.

Thanks... that mean we cannot buy from any agent just like unit trust? Is that mean that we need to buy from share brokers then? :o

Correct. They are fairly new counters in Bursa. They do not attract much attention of local investors. Don't confuse them with unit trusts which are different.
