wanted to order casing from pdair.com, will I need to pay for any tax? What is the procedure when ordering this kind of thing fm overseas, is it taxable by our custom?

don't think its taxable unless its in bulk...
its the shipping that you should be worried about..
you'd need to use tracked shipping, else you'll get a missing package.. and it ain't cheap..

just my suggestion, why don't you try lowyat plaza? they do have a lot of casings for any PDA/Phones...

Nope. You don't have to pay import duties if amount is less than RM500. I've done this before and I was not taxed.

Procedures? None if the amount is less than RM500. For business orders I do suggest you talk to a freight forwarder.

IF its likely by post,..but if one were to hand carry equal or less amount through the JB customs..it can be different story altogether.
I seriously doubt gomen guidelines (personally I don't trust them enough..cakap tak serupa bikin) and cannot be believed entirely.. there can be some jokers who can pose obstruction to smooth delivery.
This country is with loads of hassle and punitive measures..life ain't easy huh!.
