I have been wearing permanent contact lense for years & thinking of changing to those disposable ones. Any recommendation which optical shop is selling the cheapest price for Bocsh & Lomb/ Johnson & Johnson? Preferably the 30 days one than the daily disposable lense. Tks.
Anyone has "jalan" to buy the staff purchase? :D

There is one optical shop (near the Poh Kong Goldsmith) that has offers. When u buy fr them they'll give u a receipt that is stamped for further 10% discount if u go back to them next time.

Usually, when the manufacturer has offers (e.g. Bausch & Lomb) any optical shops will do. E.g. 6 mths supply (12 lenses) will cost u around RM120 - RM180 during promotion (unless ur talking about colour lenses). That is what I do anyway.

at giant around the food court area there's an optical shop selling disposable contacts for rm45 per box. the usual price is around rm50-60. i plan to get my next supply soon, so i don't know if there's anything fishy about the promotion or not.

i like bausch & lomb better than j & j, though be a bit wary about b&l's solution because of the renu multiplus solution causing eye infections to people last time.

look out for ads on contacts in the papers. sometimes they offer free trial coupons and stuff. i once got a free box of one-day lenses and rm20 starbucks voucher!

Unfortunately I've got high astigmatism. And the disposal ones that cater for this is more expensive than the permanent ones. Would you be able to check the price of these for me?

softlens toric 66 is the monthly disposable contact lens by bausch & lomb, i'm using it on 1 of my eyes too. i get them from friends rm 100 a box. if buy 2 boxes, get 1 extra pair somemore with rm 5 on top of rm 200 for 2 boxes. i can help u to get if u want.

the permanent lens need alot of maintenance which cost a bomb too if u include all the cost for the solution, protein removal tablets & recycle charges.

i meet my friends quite often, at least once a week when we free for yum cha or games. thats why i dont mind helping u guys to order as they come to subang for gathering, but i cant promise instant response for lens order as sometimes they need to wait for stock too.

princessp : normal price for a box of soflens toric 66 ranges from rm120 to rm130 a box depending on shops. u need to have an eye check 1st before u order or else its a waste of money.

kensu : next time i help u to buy la, but i want a milo ice...kakakaka
:D
