View Full Version : Tnb Run By Incompetent Management?

I just received my TNB Bill for last month and was shocked to see that there was a large amount of 'tunggakan'.

Luckily for me I have a special file for all bills and payments and a quick check showed that all payments were made by me accordingly.

So the next best thing is to call TNB Shah Alam to check.

Getting through to the line 03-55102020 even with 103 operator assistance was rather painful.

You get major ulcers trying to get through!

And when you finally get through after 30 minutes and they pass you to the accounts section the line goes dead!

So you try again and this becomes a circus and you get no where!

So I call the HQ line at 03-62506020 in Kuala Lumpur and there too the circus continues!

Maybe I should call Putrajaya TNB or the Prime Minister's Office for assistance?

Or worse, take leave from work and go visit TNB office to get clarification incurring more costs for a bill that was already paid!

Malaysia - where is it heading with all these incompetence!

Did you pay your previous tnb bill in Pos Malaysia or others agents? Or directly to tnb through auto-debit, kedai tanaga etc...?

As always and on time I paid at the Shah Alam Post Office (HQ). :)

Then we should blame to Pos Malaysia on their services also… due to they've never update their tnb bills collection immediately to tnb as well.

Usually Pos Malaysia will keep your payment don't know else where for some period (maybe like bank also, they need to 'float' your money for few days). And this is the cause why your current bill still showing "Tunggakan".

And, please be calm when you wish to post your any complaints to tnb, pos malaysia & telekom next time, you'll definitely facing the same circus everytime when you deal with these 'private but gaoment working style' companies. ;)

Always after paying, check the receipt for the amount paid and the correct account number..sometimes they make mistakes. It happened once with me the cashier keyed in the wrong account no.
