Yesterday I started my first meal with mom's food delivery. So far ok. But they send the food very early.

Check their website for more info.

Hi,
I have been taking food delivery from Mr Chow of USJ13 for 4 months already. Food ok sometimes average, 3 dishes, 1 soup no rice, RM130 per person.
I do not remember the number but I got the number from the restaurant, Kai Xin Restaurant next to NYC at USJ 11.

What to do? need to work..

I called & ask about the MSG thingy and the boss actually very honest and tell me that they did put in a little to make it more tasty. He said he will be a liar if he said he didn't add in the MSG ;)
By the way, anyone has tried the food delivery from Restoran Chuan at SS14? I think they are quite new and I received their leaflet stated 1 pax is RM140, 1 1/2 pax is RM200, 2 pax is RM270 & 3 pax is RM400.

A little wee bit into a dish is actually ok..as long its not like a heap on a teaspoon or to the point of overdoing like some outside food soup. As for restaurants..who cares..surely they don't...they only want your money...health care is your problem.
If not mistaken nearly all Japanese cooking does contain a wee bit and I don't hear the old myth or urban legend of hair dropping or whatever.
I do use MSG in most of my home cooked local dishes and always with moderation. Too much no good, too little or none..tasteless...Ces't la vie!.

Unless u r allergic to msg, I agree that when used sensibly and in moderation it should be fine. Food would be so tasteless otherwise...

I believe our taste buds are already accustomed eating food containing MSG...in fact we are likely to admit almost everyone would likely consume maybe a teaspoon or so EVERYDAY..especially all the working people having 2-3 meals outside. If we're living in the 1950's, MSG was probably non-existant then, and people in those days had different taste buds.. In fact present day outside cooked dishes are sweeter, saltier and of course MSG...people now just like it that way..despite knowing the consequences later on...which is another topic altogether...

Right..going to cook my rich rich blue cheese macaroni cabonara..sluurrrrp!...Don't worry..NO MSG!...some sugar instead.. :)

Not too adhoc else it makes it difficult for them to deliver. For mine I order only Tue- Fri. Those days I do not eat, just call them a day before n tell them not to send. If too adhoc, you might as well call Domino / McD.

Honestly Shereen, I looked at the menu and the price for WE DELIVER and nothing appeals to me. And i feel that it's quite over-priced. Those are the kind of price which you pay for eating at the restaurant for the ambience/environment and service. Not for eating at home out of the box. Furthermore I have to pay for the delivery. So this will depend on one's preference. You may love the service which is good but I'm not keen on ordering from there at the moment.

No, because it's a contradiction in terms. There is no such thing, and those that claim to be it are liars.

It's either home-cooked or it's not home-cooked.
