Hi there

I'm looking to buy ferrite pads (aka emi absorption sheets, emc sheets).

I'm clueless to what this is. Can anyone tell me where I can source them locally or in Singapore?

What application is it use for n the package you need.
Take a look at this....and for lower volumes there are agents in Sg that can help.

HI CCY

Thanks for the tip. I'm looking to purchase very, very low volume (4 sheets only). I need to find something equivalent to something Intermark produces.

Forgot to add:
I need them for an rfid project. I have to place an rfid antenna on them.

Normally when u buy network cards or computer cards, it comes with it ziplocked.
Use to keep my fishing stuff in it.Try asking from IT network people.

Also this company.... use to get microwave connectors from them...

Any pics of the ones you're looking for ? Sometimes can get samples from them for free. Maybe just pay for EMS charge only.
Alternatively as what franky says RS components or Farnell components or shoot off to Jalan Pasar for a tour ....... You may be surprised to find it there.

I should have one or two bag... another one or two should be with tinkerfy :D

U buy us TT and you can have it.... :D

Its just a plastic bag (like ziplock..size of a piece of bread) with a coating of film... like one way sun glasses. :p

There is two type. one for static electric shielding only...

Hah, I think I know what you guys are talking about now. It's that anti-static bag, right?

The one I need is a thick pad (like the old type of mouse pad). But perhaps these would work too.

I'm an idiot when it comes to electronics. Thanks for the tip.

Buying you guys TT - anytime. No need anti-ferrite pads as excuse.
Problem is that every month, the first Friday somehow will clash with something. Sigh, such is the burden of a working mother.
