Dear all,

i am having a trip and may need to park my car for six days at lcct and it may cost me rm180. I need to use my own car as i afraid the taxi may not have enough space for me to store my luggage. Is there any good suggestion?

thanks

at 6th day, if you car battery is not good, it could be drained out and you cannot start when you return.

for 6 days, you car will become noticeable and could be treated as abandoned thus someone may just tow it away for recycling at the secondhand car dealer

Often it is better to use a few small bags, rather than one big bag (or in your case more small bags than few big bags) so that they can fit into the taxi.

or ask for a bigger taxi (they have limo, mpv) instead of the wira or saga. so far i have not yet seen a kancil taxi except at uitm shah alam.

or take less things. don't forget, excess baggage is painful for your wallet. Airasia only give you 15kg free baggage.

You may want to consider using one of those LCCT Renault MPV taxis, for your luggage space problem.

There was one that I have used before. When LCCT first started, he asked for RM50/trip from USJ to LCCT, early in the morning (5 a.m.), without extra charge. After using him for a few times, he started to asked for additional RM10 or RM20 more (maybe because LCCT now have midnight charge). I will still use him when I have 5 passengers going to LCCT or when I have to bring large-size luggage pieces.

PM me if you need his number.

Park at KLIA's MTB covered car park. it is Rm43/day

Upon return claim you lost the chip and pay a RM50 penalty and tell them you only parked there for a day trip to Singapore :D

Parking charges at KLIA (http://www.klia.com.my/index.php?ch=62&pg=137&ac=2686)

Eric, I used to call KLIA Limousine to pick up from my house to KLIA or LCCT especially when I have a lot of luggages. You can access or call KLIA Limousine (http://www.klia.com.my/index.php?ch=22&pg=72&ac=1507) to arrange for the bigger taxi (MPV). You may want to tell them abt the number of luggages and also the sizes. They may be able to help you.
