i am interested to get into self development, first as a training facilitator then maybe become a trainer one day. would very much like to be at the training venue for the hands on approach.
most of the vacancies that i look at require doing sales. i dont wish to do sales. friends who are in that line, do sales, perform the necessary support work for the trainer and that's it. they are not required to be at the venue.
i want to be part of the training itself. can anyone please help me? appreciate the input. thanks.

Before you run, you must learn to walk... same as before you become a Sales Trainer, you must be a do sales first. Like they say, u must know the selok belok of the trade before you can train people. You can learn very fast in sales by joining usj forummer in their MLM :D
Look for an industry of interest to you, start from the bottom then work yourself up.
The most important thing is you must be able to talk, fluent, express your thoughts, express your feeling, convince people and read alot to do that. etc.
Self Development? Maybe u should try to enter as HR first.... most corp like Tenaga, Telekom and JKR do have their own training section some, their own Univ.
Good luck!

thanks for the input.
most of the HR departments in huge corporations focus on training the staff as part of the organisation and not as individual. i'm looking at training/coaching at individual level. i'm willing to be part time or volunteer with an training/coaching company.
but most of the companies dont have vacancy at the moment...
