Anyone here has been to any haunted places in SJ/USJ?? Would be interesting to know where they are just for fun.

Most playgrounds at night are creepy also. :D

Some parts of SS18 and SS14 (near USJ2-SS14 pedestrian bridge and near SMSJ school) look damn creepy

Bring cloves of garlics, to scare away any vampires. It'll probably scare away anyone too if you chew on them. Helps to lower cholestrol too.

Good luck.

Chinese vampires (the jumping type) not afraid of garlic.
Better bring along raw glutinous rice. :)
But then again, the new generations of kids wont know its a Chinese Vampire even if they sees one. :(
*sigh* really missed those movies. ;)
Maybe we can all pool money and invest in a Chinese Vampire movie and sure it'll be a hit. If a flying Chow Yun Fatt aroung bamboo trees can be a hit to Hollywood, I'm sure a revival (pardon the pun) of Chinese Vampire would be a great hit too. :p :D

I agree that most playgrounds are poorly lit at night and thus seem so creepy. MPSJ spends so much on plants and flowers, should look into better lighting for these areas. I wonder also how many dare use the pedestrian bridges over KESAS at USJ2/SS18 and USJ3/SS19 at night. Anyone out there who lived to tell the story...? ;)

well speaking of playground's hauntedness, there's this playground at USJ2 that's up a hill, with a steep path...
last time when my ex-classmates and I were having BBQ at night, when the BBQ was almost at the finale, everyone just relaxing and about to get ready to pack and leave, me and a few friends, who's sitting facing the swings, noticed the swing was moving a little. we looked at each other, and looked again, then he said it must be the wind.

Notice i said 'swing' and not 'swings'
so we quickily suggested everyone to pack up and leave, since it was "rather late" and I've never return to that playground ever...

I was just back from a short stint in China (Shanghai to be specific). There are no ghosts in China because the Communists are atheists and ghosts don't exist in their ideology. These are, of course, amongst the communists Chinese.

But ask those Malaysians and Singaporeans friends living around the old districts like Xuhui, Xintiandi, Lujiazui, Xujiahui etc at the old west bank of the Hangpu River (Puxi) and they will tell you its the most haunted districts in the whole wide world....

One of my Malaysian friends' (Nick)favorite T-shirt is "I see the Deads...."

I found it rather curious why ppl always claim to see ghosts.
Why reports of ppl sees god(s) so few?
I just thought if there are ghost, certainly there are god(s) as well.
Aha...must be our own fear inside us that scares ourselves, thus projected a ghostly feel.

I believed that these friends from another dimension of the world exist everywhere, and I believe there is one or there are some in my house. though I didn't have any 'encounter' anything or I was too blur to notice, but both my best fren, who always come and visit me and my cousin sister have heard a lot of things. I used to be alone at home when i was pregnant, but didn't encounter anything.

I remember there was a house in SS12, I stayed there for a year during college time, that one is confirmed haunted, my housemates at that time had stayed there for a year before I shifted in. We heard toilet flushing, water kettle boiling on its on, note, 'WE' heard all that together.

To have the feel of "something" following us when we go back late or while opening the doors are bad enough to me.
But blackgammon hears toilet flushing and water boiling? WOW! this is getting physical already and really creepy.

You had the BBQ at that playground at night??? That's freaky. But if there's many of you there, you guys should not be afraid too easily.

So far I have not heard of ghosts assaulting anyone. So why are we so afraid of them? I do not dispute the fact that they exist or rather spirits exist but I feel that all the fear is generated from one's own mind rather than the spirits actually posing a threat to the person.

There used to be one in USJ5. I won't disclose the exact address, now that the house has been occupied by its new owners. From what I heard, the body of a murdered woman had been buried under that house, and there were a lot of "disturbances". I noticed that occupants never stayed there very long, and there were long periods where the house was unoccupied. I also noticed the house having its entire roof removed.

I found it rather curious why ppl always claim to see ghosts.Ok, listen. Very often, people will either tell you that their friend told them they saw a ghost or they saw one but was alone when they saw "it". It's always like this. There's never (not that I am aware of anyway) been an occasion where TWO persons see the so-called ghost. My conclusion is that it's all in the mind of that one person.

(strange noises behind writer)

What the hell.....

Wow, my fav topic!

Anyways, I know the park TinkerFy talked about. I was there quite often with my then bf (now fiance) but so far, nothing happened ler?

However, we both encounter an experience that none of us could explain. Its at one of the USJ3 park, the one near the shell station. We were walking into the the park when suddenly, both of us just stopped.

Reason : I felt a chilling cold surrounding me from a warm evening suddenly, while he felt the back of his neck tingling as in all the hair the back of his neck just stand up. He however did not feel the cold. We just looked at each other, and did a 180 degree turn straightaway and muttering prayer of the Lord under our breathes. Scary? Yes.

But not as scary as to attend a funeral and the 7th day, and in the morning u see animal paw/hoof/foot?? prints. It is said that whatever your chinese animal horoscope is, on the 7th day, that is the print (foot???) that will be left on the flour dusted on the floor. Anyone can explain more on this??

What about the Subang Lake at night?? SURELY IT"S HAUNTED!

Hehehhehe...after all..only someone out their mind would want to spend time around there at night.

Ok..seriously...I think you are more likely to get robbed in that area than see a ghost. Ghost go fishing at night???

Uptown area is pretty haunted as well, esp the street where ex-Fajah was.

I once walked with my gf at night in that area and I suddenly went pale. I need not say what happen but it is that bad (to a person who has numerous encounter with such things).

I think that thing was just passing by cos I never encounter it in that area.

I also believe in 'if you don't disturb them, they usually won't do the same", sure they are plenty of them everywhere.

The house that I am staying now has friend(s) as well, my babysister heard noises, my fren felt something, but touch me, not me yet.

I used to stay at home alone in the evening, and sometimes over night (when my husband was still working on shift) and everything seems to be alright.

Actually right from the beginning I already felt there must be something 'different' with this house, because the landlady fixed everything I asked for, and one week before we moved in, she even brought her maids to clean the house and changed all the toilet seats. hmmm.

hmm.. somehow rather this statement sounds a bit off..
sounds more to me like "you dun kacau them, they'll kacau you anyway" :p
