View Full Version : SEFUSE or thermal fuse, there is one in your home appliance

Hi,

Long time never repair my own home appliance, yesterday rice cooker strike by lightning. I was quite free and got mood to see what was burn, check the heater with multi-meter (29 years old sanwa meter still working) it is still good, surprisingly it only burn the SEFUSE or thermal fuse, the component is new to me. (just learn from internet)

Anyone knows where to get electrical components, is there still shops around SEA park and SS2? I have not been for more than 15 years already, don't know still exist or not. I know shops around Pudu still exist but too far.

Can try this online and check if they have the one you need. Too bad the website is at a crawl now. It may be more expensive but can save the trouble hunting elsewhere. The place is near Jln 222 , PJ.

there is one shop in puchong similar to the shops in Jalan pasar. opposite tesco..near singer! hope this helps!

I got my rice cooker repaired. I got the thermal fuse in SEA electronics in SS2, the shop is still there since in the 80s almost 20 years already. The fuse only cost me RM4. :)
