There are plasters that would help reduce scars if applied consistently for a couple of months. Check out your local pharmacy for these.

the plaster is cica-care. quite expensive. Don't think it will work for such a large surface area as you need to wear that all the time. You take it off only when u bath.

tbearer, if you're consuming Vit-E daily is good but you can try this format. Those Vit-E capsule, break it, apply it on your legs for consecutively 5 days. See if it does help or not. Apply it and let it dry by itself. Normally, do it after you bath ..before you go to bed.
Another way is, go get some wild aloe vera, and apply it on your legs. This one you do it daily for a month, I guess you legs can be taken in for advertising shots already. Trust me, aloe vera work wonders to human skin.

tried the vit e capsule format. didnt work at all.
using the lastest vit e, in water soluble format. works, but very slowly. will try aloe vera. where to find the purest form besides from the plant itself?

Actually I have not tried Vit-E in water soluble format. So you consume it or you apply it to your legs? Its only from the plant itself aloe vera you can get it original. Others aleo vera that they sell to you are extract type.

The best medicine is prevention.... try not to take black sauce if there is wound. Also, do not peel the wound when it is drying. Let the scaled wound drops by itself..
As for your existing scars...try to apply baby lotion every night before sleep. Well.. I am not sure if it is true .. people told me that applying baby lotion can make the hair grows..... :) So, u decide whether to apply or not....
Haven't you heard of scar reducing gel, sheets, and creams? These products reduces keloids/scars. Just go to any pharmacy and ask for it.
The gel type suchs as Mederma doesn't cost a lot(RM40-50 for a small tube) but u need to apply 2-3 times daily so u will probably need a few tubes a month for such a large area. You need to be persistent in application to see results, it can take months but you will be rewarded with smoother skin.
Sheets or plasters are meant for a localized scar such as caused by surgery or injury and u leave it on for weeks until the scars reduced, unless your eczcema scars are concentrated in one area, I don't think sheets or plasters are such a good solution.
Vitamin E pills alone doesn't really help reduce scars concentrated in an area, though some claim vitamin e lotion will improve skin condition, it will take ages to wait for so called 'improvements' to reduce real and ugly scars NOW!
A good healthy diet with sufficient vitamins, minerals n protein n lots if water, combined exercise and keloid reducing gel will improve metabolism and help the body to regenerate new skin and make u look healthier with radiant skin.

I think with PJS punya recommedation and ours and whatever you're taking. Combine all together, apply it within a month, confirm cure! ;)
PJS, her skin might be a lil too sensitive to take any product you recommended. Maybe that is why she resolve to taking only Vit-E.

i am both consuming vit e in water soluble format and applying on my legs. yes, i can see improvement, ie scars getting fainter but at snails' pace. would like the process to speed up.
have heard of Medema but i think it contains steroids right?

Well, since you're already it both ways, I think that's the fastest already. Even if you use cream something like calamine lotion, it still won't speed up the process to for the scars on your legs. As long as its fainters now you should count your blessings wif it. Some ppl just tried all sorts and scars are scars ... can't removed 'em.
This is a long term process, so don't give up so easily if you wanna see your legs shining again. Good luck wif your legs in Year 2007! ;)

I don't think so, it's not a steriod cream, it's upposed to be made from botanical extracts.
