I was given 500 unused carton boxes which can be very useful for business people to reuse them. All of them are flatened and stacking them up is about 4 feet high in two rows. Their dimension is 270cm (width) x 103cm (height) x 85cm (depth). Just offer me a price and transport is on your own. You may have to do two trips with a car and one trip if you use a MPV/Van. If remain unsold end of this month, then I will cart them to Giant to sell them off by weight which will not fetch a good price. All proceed will go to the Bangsa Ria Home in PJ where I am helping out there.

Ooooops, there is definitely a glaring error in the dimension of the box provided. Someone pointed this out to me and I was wondering where the heck I got such a big carton box measuring 3.38ft x 8.83 ft x 2.79ft!!! I got it mixed up with the dimemsion of a built in cabinet that I am supposed to provide to the cabinet maker in Taipan. I shall go home and measure the box again. By the way, you can purchase in smaller quantity of 50 and I shall undertake to deliver them to your house if you are within Subang Jaya and USJ. For that I think I will just charge only 40 sen per box. If you can find someone to take all, I think it is fair to charge you RM 120.00 but transport is on the buyer. The proceed goes to the charity below. They are now operating from PJ since the building plan was called off. The church changed their mind in going ahead with the plan so the Home is now purely on its own and thus will need funds. The last fund raising was done in Aug 2006 where about RM 22K was raised. I will start another thread on this matter later.

OK. Here is the correct measurement.
Width is 52 cm or 20 inches
Height is 34 cm or 13.5 inches and
Depth is 32 cm or 12.5 inches
If you intend to 'move' house, these boxes will be very useful as you can pre pack all your items at your own pace days before the move. Since you can pack all those small items into boxes, you can stack them up in the lorry thus maximising the use of the lorry space and making lesser trips. Since you pack them yourself, you can label the contents of those boxes for any emergency retrieval at the new place since you just can't possibly unpack everything at one go. And lastly, if you need helping hands, people can carry these boxes without spending precious time having to pack them thus making moving day less stressful. You can even direct those helping you to place them exactly on the required spot in your new house eg master bedroom, kitchen, dining etc etc. by stating this on the box. I have learnt this after having moved 5 times. These boxes are all new. You will impress all your old and new neighbours how professional and neat you are and they will not laugh at the 'rubbish' you are carting away or bringing into your new home! So anybody want these boxes?

So sorry did not see this question.
Yes, I am left with only 200 cartons and they are still available. One forumer will drop in this evening to cart away 40-50 cartons and if there is no takers, I will cart them home to store them. So far I have raised RM 120.00 which I will go to Giant to purchase some food stuff for the home.

The last carton box has been taken away. In fact, I have someone who wanted 100 of them to pack his household items to relocate to Putra Heights which unfortunately I could not fulfil. Thanks to all you kind hearted people who helped to clear these boxes. Altogether I received RM 180.00. Imagine if I were to cart them to Giant recycling centre, the most I will get is about RM 20.00. Going to Giant this weekend to buy those household provisions for the Home.

When I was asked by my sister in law to clear off those 500 carton boxes, the first thought that came into my mind is to dispose them at the Recycle Centre and make a quick buck out of it. It then dawn on my mind that maybe I should use this Flea market channel and generate more money and give all proceed to charity. Initially I thought it would be a uphill task to do so. With such overwhelming responses from you kind people, I am now saddled with a new problem I didn't anticipated - OVER demand. I have to say sorry to all those who placed orders as I had only 500 to clear. May I suggest that those who needed boxes to 'move' house, you can buy them from the loading bay at Giant Hypermarket and they cost about RM 1.00 each. They came in all shapes and sizes. Go in the afternoon as by then they will have ample boxes for sale. There is this Bangladeshi whom you should speak to. Do me a favour. Don't use my name to get a cheaper price! I don't have any Bangladeshi in my network of friends.
