Yes... I baked a orange chiffon cake last Saturday but seems not that successful. any special tips behind

well chiffon cake batter is best mixed with a stand mixer and in a metal bowl.....
Also there needs to be a lot of air in the batter and will not do for you to be thrashing it about :)
perhaps can take a look at your recipe?

I baked orange chiffon cake today again he he he.... but result still the same. i follow what the recipes mention but...
what do u mean with air in the batter? how to make air in the batter?

i oso consider myself a beginner in bakin. recently went 4 a cake bakin course.... learnt dat d chiffon cake batter hasta b veri light n fluffy in order 2b successful.... it iz 1 of d more difficult cakez 2 bake....

Chiffon cake- the egg need to be seperated. The egg white (is very sensative) must not contains any egg yolks.

Coz when beating the egg white ( until stiff) with electric mixer, if contains (even very little traces) of egg yolk will result in "fail chiffon cake"

How to know if egg white is at stiff..
Normally i beat egg white until foamy then i add sugar (gradually) a little cream of tartar (optional) then beat until - egg white can stick on bowl, when u turn bowl upside down.
