i have just bought a proton waja on the 26.07.06. but found it not suitable for a young man like me. Is anyone interested? it is just 4 month's old.

are you willing to drop the price by at least 15k? that's the bare minimum depreciation, as Proton has been offering RM7k discounts (and other perks like low int.rate) plus another drop in price as we enter 2007.

I think the 7k is for proton perdana only. are you sure it is worth around 45k now? i bought it at 61k.

The loan is 7 years. loan amount is 45k @ 3.9%.

u r right, discount for Waja is RM4500. it's tough, but we cannot sell based on our purchase price.

it's hard to compare prices for 06 models, but read the classifieds and you'll find 05 models selling for circa RM41-42k.

u can imagine the price in 07 for an 06 car.

Oic. Just checked with my colleague and he told me if the market value for the car is RM48k. then i still have to pay the interests for the full settlement. Which means i will lose up to 20k. that's not worth it.

Come January 1, your car is deemed to be already 2 years old. Not many wants to buy car at the month of December as in January it will be known as the 06 model compared to two weeks later, it will be known as 2007 model. Pity that you may have to loose that much. The best is not to sell it. Just use it. Who told you that this model is not suitable for a young man like you. Must be the car salesman. If you say it is a Rolls Royce then I believe you. Just as the Ferrari may not be a suitable car for an old man. This is all perception. When you are filthy rich, yes, it is relevant.
