If you're looking at A levels either Science or Arts by default, then TAR College is also a considerable option should investment for education is your top priority. It takes 1 year & a half, unlike other colleges which completes the course for around 8 months. Some may prefer to stretch the duration to equip themselves with more readiness for the exam. Some might wanna rush into things.
I took my Business A-levels in TARC & got a distinction for my GP. Woohoo~~~

Depends on your budget and which board you prefer.
Help Institute still follows London Board for A level.
The rest of the colleges like Sunway or Taylors follows Cambridge board.
The difficulty levels varies between the 2 boards.

hi vienna
may i ask what do you plan to study after taking a pre-u course? the reason i'm asking is that sometimes i find some people taking pre-u courses because they can't decide what to study. and often this becomes a waste of time and money because the courses they pursue after pre-u sometimes do not even require them to take a pre-u in the first place! they could've taken the foundation course offered along with the degree and this would save their parents quite some money.
but if your intended course after pre-u does require you to take pre-u, i'd suggest taylors. i admit i did not take pre-u (i took stpm) so i don't know how good taylors is, but many of my ex-schoolmates have taken it. it's pricey, but it's near home and with the rising cost of petrol nearer is cheaper; it also sort of balances out with the pricey college fees. that is if you have your own car. :)
better still, go for form six at smk seafield. cheaper and stand a chance for local uni.
