Subang Jaya Buddhist Association (SJBA) Youth Section (YS) is organizing a camp for young lads from the age of 16 and above.
The main objective of the camp is to spread the teachings of buddha(dhamma) amongst young ones. Not only that it is also to instill team spirit and love towards mother nature. Details are as followed:-

15th Annual Youth Dhamma Camp (YDC 15)
Theme:- Call of Nature
Camp venue:- Port Dickson Sanctuary( ns camp)
Date:- 27th december - 30 december 2006 (4 days 3 night)
Fees:- RM 100
Activities included:- flying fox(by trained professionals), obstacle course(by trained professionals), team building games, dhamma talks, character buiding games, leadership training and etc.
Closing date 27th november 2006

sorry Youth Dhamma Camps (YDC) camps are mainly catered for youngster age 16 and above, this is because YDC are held in specialised camp site which are capable of bringing them nearer to the nature. However there is another camp catered for the younger generations which is called Teen Dhamma Camps which are usually held in temples, but un-fortunately the camp has already been held this year.( on june). But there is always next year! Anyway if you have teenagers interested in buddhism activities, they can join our Subang Jaya Buddhist Association Youth Section weekly activities which are held on sundays 10.00 am - 12.00 pm ( when school reopens)

This is the newest update for the camp! The closing date of registration has been extended for another 2 more weeks. The closing date will be on the 8th of December 2006, all forms must be handed in by noon(12pm) any forms handed in after 12 will not be entertained. So parents out there have any kids from the age of 16 and above enroll them for YDC 15. For your infomation any adults who are interested you are also welcome!!
