Nothing beats a fresh face, bare without any make ups. Very sexy. Those who paint their faces with layers of foundation look so fake, I wonder how they look without them or at 40.

Natural beauty is how you carry yourself.

thanks guys.. I used to have "natural" fresh thinggie but than, I don't look nice.. coz because of my skin color, looked pale (i'm pretty fair).

So, after I got my 1st lession @ make up professional, I've improved rapidly by going to different shops, i.e. bobby brown, imac etc. But then, I still couldn't find a "Face" with my own personality.. but of course, ppl said I don't look much different with or without makeup..coz i'm painting my face in pale colors. hahahhaa.. so, pretty disappointing :D :p

Make up is just like pasting money on your face.. and u will wash the money away after that...

Just opt for economical ways.. go to praying material shop.. buy red paper..use as your lipsticks.. and then rub a bit on your cheek.. can u imagine your face now :p :D

guess make up is a woman's way of showing that she cares for herself..appeareance, eg. self grooming if not done overboard is great! but have to make up properly 2 if not......

regards on the money spent, u parkson @ 1u had a gross revenue of almost rm1mill on dec 2005 only on cosmetics.

Some of my friends are very fair and they look really good in shades of powdery pinks, rose or plum tones with some highlights. Not too dark or you'll look overdone. Natural colors are still the best. Always use good skincare, for when your skin feels good and hydrated, you'll naturally feel good too, even with minimal make up. :)

Aiseh...Mr. Senior.... I am talking about the necessity and additions .. taking bath and washing hair is something necessity which our body cannot come out with any liquid that able to clear the oil.... in constrast to make up.. most ladies have natural beauty.. why still need to put up strong make up?

Moderation is the keywor here... no need to over-make up, just a little here and there is ok... :)

I agree. Most people I know like the natural look, so it's good to wear something close to our natural skin color. However for some special occasions a little heavier making up would make our face pop out hehehe.., just don't cake it all up and be confident about ourselves even if we're under made up. This is slightly off, but I've always thought that beauty lies skin deep and it's a person's inner qualities that has lasting value.

Any suggestion ??
Anyways, Piggy, to know what style of making up is most suitable for you, go to a departmental store and make an appointment for a one on one session at a well-known makeup counter. Some ladies would start with their hair and clothings for a total makeover. Have fun discovering a new look Piggy. :)

Hope it help, good luck then.

well piggy, according to u, u already hv pale skin, so u dont even need foundation, just a little bit of compact or loose powder will do, so that ur face will not be too bare, then try some blusher on the apple of ur cheeks so that u wont look so pale. followed by some mascara (after curling them) and pink lip gloss, u should be good to go.

if u want to go for dinner, then u can use some foundation, and always remember to put loose powder after applying foundation to set it. otherwise it may run with ur blusher or eyeshadow later.

remember that less is always more.

to the guys that say natural is the best, then why the hell on wedding days the brides always want to look their best by caking makeup on?
they should go au naturel as well then? even for the studio shots as well then?

everything should be in moderation. not like some aunties i see that go to the market with full makeup on as well. if the lady wants to dress up for dinner and have some makeup on, that is acceptable.

good luck piggy.
