Azareel, with due respect, what are you trying to say here? Get to the point.

There is an active discussion going on and you just come in and make a comment about finding the root cause, then you make another comment about an armchair critic can never find the root cause. I am sure we all know that already. So, EXACTLY what were you exactly trying to say? :rolleyes:

Exactly? Exactly what I said. I am all for discussions and suggested solutions but not all the hysterical or forced anger condemning people to be whipped two million times and have parts of their bodies amputated. Now. You can hardly call those comments 'discussion', can you?

For example, im109's last post is what a discussion with well thought out ideas.

This is a forum, not everyone has a PhD nor an expert in the subjects discussed. Some do get real emotional at times but then thats the essence of a public forum. We cannot expect everyone to discuss and deliberate an issue like you or the way you like it, can we? :rolleyes:

Actually, to be fair, I didn't know what you were talking about either in your two posts about armchair critic and root causes. You probably meant something but neglected to say exactly what. Yes. You could be right. But then you could be wrong. My comments cannot be as 'terse' as those who advocated extreme violence in this thread. Why are you not picking on those who have gone into mass hysteria about this murder and yet you pick on me when I said precious little?

By "terse", all I meant was "short", ie not enough information given. No other hidden meaning or intention. Just trying to put things into perspective. Not picking on you and not picking on any others.

Those who "advocated extreme violence" wrote enough words for us to deduce that they are advocating extreme violence. In contrast, you didn't write enough words for me to form any conclusion about what you meant, which was why I said that the only option (for me, at least) was to try and figure out what you said.

If the above doesn't make sense to you, forget it. I've explained to the best of my ability, that's all I'm interested in saying anyway, and I don't want to pick a fight over something as inconsequential as one's ability or inability to say what one means. Let's get back to the original thread of this discussion.
