I search for 'kuantan' in usj.com but can't find any holiday experience/posting by the forumers...(found a makan in Kuantan thread though:-)
Anyone care to share where to stay in Kuantan? No, no. Not in the town itself...say further upnorth...No, no, not Club Med too.
Can anyone share experience in hotel or chalet accommodations in cherating, balok, beserah area? My family is looking at under Rm150 per nite.
It seems like a good time to get out of Kl and the haze.
Thanks you.

But I'm sure Panimal wants to get away from the maddening crowd, too! :D Mark my words, Gentings will be chock-a-block with people. Reckon he should check with the weather boys to see where the wind is not blowing and head towards that direction! :D

Hi,
You can try Swiss Garden Hotel/Resort somewhere abt 5km away from Telok Cempedak beach. Along the way heading to Club Med or Cherating , there are quite a number of Resort. The nearest one is Swiss Garden.

i remember last year when the haze was really bad in kl, some kl-ites went up to penang to escape it.
and lo and behold, that weekend was the worse that penang had seen in a long, long time.
