I remember one definition I learnt when I was in promary school - "People with one-track minds"

Have you ever considered that perhaps FirFir is a girl and she was just asking for female companions to go swimming?

TiNKeRFY
26-09-2006, 05:25 PM
Yes I did, and I deliberately did not bring it up, to try "spice" things a little...
lighten up will ya....

LOL, very supportive of you. Thank you. :)

Not invited also I will go swimming, so anybody still wanna join me? Doesn't matter GAL or GUY! Come together is to have fun learning how to swim. Survival purposes. Can't play much in pool ... very risky place for fun but danger is also in my blood. :D

So ... next week tuesday morning?

kokomo
27-09-2006, 02:46 PM
In Subang there ain't any other public pool. Nearest you can go to is Kelana Jaya or Shah Alam. Enterance fee is around there. $2.5 - 3.

kokomo

In 3K they have swimming instructors and also in Sunway Club. You pass by the front of Sunway Club, I think they have the banner there. You can check it out. AIseh , dunno how to swim only'ma. Most of them that learn swimming there also dunno from the start. So no need shy shy punya. ;)

My swimming not that good either or cud be worst. But as long as am able to float then I'll be in the pool liao. :o :D

Any idea where is the public pool in Kelana Jaya located? Somewhere near to the Giant?

honeybee
27-09-2006, 03:42 PM
It's near the Kelana Jaya LHDN office, behind the MAS office.
As you turn towards the LHDN (which should be on your left), take the first right turn after the LHDN. The swimming pool is just there on the right.

Errr .. if you still shy then you can bring along your friends to learn together wif you. Best way to learn swimming and enjoy it as well. Good luck! If all fails, I suggest you prepare yourself wif a duck float. :D

Ya, as what honeybee mentioned. IS just around there. You can't miss it. Can see ppl running around in their wet suits. Heheh .. they have 2 big pools there whichever side you choose to swim. I prefer Kelana than Shah Alam swimming pool.

Evening if go early not that many ppl. But nite time memang a lot of ppl there ... and certain time, those students there would be having their lessons so a bit hard to swim wif leisure also.

If not mistaken, the fee last time was RM3. Its been a long time I didn't go there anymore. No kaki to go wif me :(

Hi Kokomo,

R u really swimming instructor? I wanted to find a swimming instructor for my kid lar...

kokomo
29-09-2006, 03:39 PM
Birdy, am no swimming instructor ... if you can swim , you can teach. Give them kickboard, ask them start kicking around the pool. Teach them how to drown, they'll eventually learn how to breath. That's how I learn. Hahaha ... most importantly, be brave'lah.

Ok ok, better not follow my technic .. send your kids to proper swimming school better. ;)

I think outside of Sunway Club, there is a banner promoting on their swimming course. Otherwise you can also try Kota Kemuning, Kota Permai Club .. there too offer swimming course. I don't know which one is cheaper. But nearer the better of cos, petrol ain't cheap anymore.

Firefly

Firefly's kiddo learning to swim in Holiday Villa. 2X a week at RM94.50 per month beginner stage. They charge higher for intermediat and even more for advance. Go ask on Sat at 4.00pm.

kokomo
30-09-2006, 06:22 PM
Firefly, that's pretty expensive. I think 3K and even Sunway Club is cheaper. Probably, RM20 - 25 per session. All the kids need to do is go thru beginner's stage and practice more on their own. They can swim well enough already. Unless you want your child to train up like Jeffrey Ong.

Errmmm .. hey, we're talkin' bout girlz and swimming, where are we heading to again? Hahaha ... girlz not voicing anymore?

birdy
30-09-2006, 10:57 PM
yalar..firefly... .really so expensive? I tot I saw a banner somewhere at USJ3 junction there stating swimming lesson at RM10 per session at Sunway (I guess must be Sunway Club as referred by Kokomo)

Firefly

Depends on how the session works out. This Holiday Villa is by the month and twice a week. ie 8 times a month. Think mrs firefly worked it out and said Holiday Villa is a bit more pricy by more sessions...

Well, to improve you really need to try to swim in the sea and also in the pool. Feeling is diff and its great to feel it that way. Make you sure your friends are good swimmers as well around you. If not make sure there are lifeguards around ya. ;)
