this article should never have seen the light of day. not in printed media, not in cyber space. this is hardly a topic worth discussion. more importantly, in the first instance, lina joy's case is pending decision by the apex court of the country. it is highly inappropriate to be partisan in matters under judication which especially when the subject is deemed so damned sensitive by one side of the fence. also, please note that 9th sept is human rights day and suhakam has a forum on wherein the real meaning of human rights vis-a-vis religion is expected to be discussed.
