question on paint

I wanted to paint my wall but did not know the color code of the paint or even the manufacturer. My father just say that the paint is from a "French" brand manufacture in malaysia.
So:
1. What is the best way to obtain the color code of your wall?
2. What is the "French" brand manufacture in malaysia.

Go to a hardware store and they will recommend you the brand, color and paint. I uses nippon paint or ici. They should have a color code chart for you to choose from.
