Guys....something out of SJ/USJ
The Event
Venue: Jalan SS24/1, Taman Megah. (Nearby Ming Tien)
Date: 20 Aug 2006 (I'll be going, mebbe to jaga stall)
Time: 9am - 4pm
Coupons: RM10 per booklet (buy more to get more stuff)

Activity: There will be sale of various kind of food, clothes, soft
toys, games, provisional items, musical entertainment and many more.
Reason: The centre needs to expand in order to accomodate the growing
children unnattended. Need to raise RM1,000,000.00 for 2 unit of house
Welcomes any other kind of help (donation or etc)
Background
- Haven for the handicapped and disabled children
- Non religious, non political, non racial and non profitable providing
needs to 'special children' in their immediate shelter, food, education,
therapy, medication and others.
- Currently serving almost 130 children from 1 - 51 years old suffering
from Down Syndrome, Autistic Cerebral Palsy, Slow Learner, Hyper Active,
Physically handicapped, Intellectual Disablity, Dwarfism, Apeth
Aynndrome, The Audibility and Visually impaired.
- Have professional 'therapist' (salaried); Occupational/ Physio
Therapsit; Speech Therapist.
- 3 Special tutors, 16 Professionally trained child minders.
- Some attend special schools and some normal schools
- Most children are accepted without any fee, come from low income
group.
- Monthly operational expenses is RM32,164.00
