I would want to start a thread asking ppl to write down their prayers, coz ppl tend to take for granted what they have now, some ppl always forget to say their prayers at night because they were too tired from a days work. Some ppl like me only pray when exam is tomorrow, or some ppl only pray when something bad has happened. Seldom ppl think of what they have now, and forget to appreciate what they have and thank god for it. It would only take 5 mins out of a hectic life to post their prayers.

Someone once told me, starting to pray is a decision we will never ever regret, there's no need for perfect words, it is what's in our hearts that matters. It will come true if we're sincere.

I would like to post a prayer for all of us. Let there always be peace, no rumour mongerers among us, no jealousy, no back stabbing and more understanding and genuine friendships. I pray for God's mercy and forgiveness upon us.

And I pray for the safety of our forumers and friends who are out every night hunting for the crooks that have been terrorizing us.

I also pray for the protection of all God's animals..less abandonment and pain for them, and more love and care.

What I pray for is that life would be smooth sailing for my family and frenz. Whatever they do, they will do it great and without apprehension. I pray for myself to be able to live life to the fullest and of coz, to be able to see happiness all around me and for tat special someone out there, many good returns and happiness all year long. And thank you god, for making me the way I am, for instilling me with wisdom and knowledge; and also for me to meet with such great company to help me grow. I appreciate life's challenges, for they reveal to me what happiness and sadness can be.

Merdeka is only a few days away. I am trying to feel patriotic and fly a flag but cant find a reason to feel patriotic at all. I was in Spore when they celebrated their National Day, invited by a close family friend to attend the celebrations.It was awesome.

I hope that in my lifetime, I would be able to celebrate Merdeka one Day

- without having to distinguish myself as a non bumi or bumi
- able to send my children to a decent respected university which practices meritocracy and respect the individual rights of each studentwith creed, color race
- able to take a MRT from USJ to KL without changing 3 different tracks run by 3 different companies.
- Do not have to pay toll everyday I drive out of USJ.
- Do not have to worry about crime/robberies/snatch thefts
- Do not have to see any nude squat episodes/inmate bashing/parlimen clowns and jesters on the TV3 news
- Decent medical care without resorting to Ah longs...
- A good judiciary system
- Have strong decent leaders with a normal brain like GKS or LKY who can seriously make this state or country a developed country, not just announcing it as developed state.

Alas...but I guessed I will never see that day nor my great grandchildren.

A friend of mine passed away last week after a long battle with cancer. She was buried on Friday, leaving behind a husband and 2 teenage daughters. And like the malay saying... sudah jatuh, ditimpa tangga... I heard that her father passed away on Monday pulak... Sigh... :(

Here, I would like to pray for her family to have the strength to carry on with life... May God bless them...
