After installing the RICOH Printer Drivers and Utilities software, my HP LaserJet 1150 printer cannot be printed, even set as default.

Can only print through the RICOH photostate machine!

My printer is connected directly to my pc, same as another colleague, both our printer is "OUT" after installing the above software. Wherelse, my other colleagues who go through printer server are ok.

I even tried to uninstall the RICOH Driver and reinstall my HP LaserJet 1150 but still cannot.

Anyone can help? Thanks!

Try removing the HP laser drivers and reinstalling it.

Chermaine, uninstall all printer drivers and re-install the HP and I'm sure it'd work. I've 2 printers installed at my laptop and PC ie HP laserfax and also Ricoh Laserfax (actually 3, the other was the PDF doc creator pdf955). So far no problem wor.. If all else cannot work, there may be problem with your wordprocessor... In that case, if you have your IT support expert in your company, you should get their help... :)

Thank you very much Peter and brother Firefly!

First thing in the morning i came in the office, tried reinstall HP Laserjet, but got the message "unable to complete installation run setup again!...die la die la...tried few times, pc also restart few times! Then I remove the scanner driver, still cannot! Last step, I put in the Ricoh printer drivers and completely removed it! And restart again, woooooooooo.....can here my printer next to me..start ! phewww.....damn scare!

Just reinstalled the scanner driver but NOT the RICOH Printer Driver anymore! Too scare.....

Thanks!

How long did it take you to complete all that work?

do you mean how long it took me to uninstall and reinstall and get the printer work again?

Yeah, the point is, wouldn't it have been better if you got your IS/IT guys to look into it, instead of wasting your precious time.

FYI, my company does not have any IT guy or IT dept, otherwise i won't do that. Tried to get the Ricoh guy, but before he came I have settled the issue!

I see, well, that's a different story then. Sorry, didn't mean to sound like I'm sounding you or anything, I myself prefer to do the job immediately, rather than wait for the goons in IS/IT to find time to come help me. But it does affect my productivity though.
