View Full Version : Loose weight and Still eat your favourite food?

Hi, I found a way to lose weight in a simple , nutritious, safe way and you can still eat your favourite food, and not get hungry. Best of all, it can cost as low as RM5 a meal and really get results. My friend lost 4 kg fat in 1 week. Another loss 6 kg in 6 weeks. Amazing. The safest way that I know how, to lose that much of weight in a week, is to detox, that is if one does not want to exercise, take any supplements, diet pills, slimming teas or goes on a crash diet. My buddies and I were just talking about detoxication by taking 20 apples a day (blended into juice or taken raw). Actually I think it's good for us to clear our intestines at least once in a couple of months. But this detox method would be a little harmful for those with gastric problems. Just my quarter.

Mon. 20 apples a day, huh? Wow. Waittaminute... you mean just take the juice and no makan for the whole week?

20 apples = RM10 at pasar malam. Sometimes 15 for but max so far is 40...but small. So mon...green or red apples? firefly wanna try.

Chang, can this forum engine put newbies on probation and have their first few postings moderated b4 being posted online (if genuine) or deleted by mod if they're just trying their luck? That wld help cut down these MLM sales pitch a lot.

Green or red does not matter I think, tho I'd prefer the juicy red ones. If I were to go on this apple detox, I think I'd just eat it straight like having a snack. Juicing or even cutting it is too much work for a lazy like me. Hehe..But I was warned by a friend who has actually tried and lost a few kgs in that week, you would feel a little weak during that detox session (5 days at least) but I guess it's just our natural body response to not getting the usual plate of rice or meat etc..If you have the will power to do it, not only would you lose weight but it will cleanse your system/intestines for you. Apples are high in fibre that aids in your digestive process, and contain malic and tartaric acids that inhibit fermentation in the intestines. They also contain pectin, a soluble fiber that encourages the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract. And antioxidants that improve immune function and prevent heart disease and some cancers. Great huh? All these info are sent to me by my friend but personally for me, all I know is an apple a day keeps the doctor away. And it has proven true for me, try taking apples when you are feverish or bake apples with honey when you are having a dry cough, it works great! That reminds me to bake some apples soon, have been coughing on and off for the past 3 months already!

Yes Eve. Probably not for the whole week. 5 days would be sufficient. If you succeed to the 5th day, I guess it wouldn't be too difficult to carry on to the next 2 days and make it into a week of total detoxing ya? But I guess if you do not want such a drastic change to your diet, you could cut the apples and mix them with salad or something. But no sweet apple pies ya. Eve, I thought when you bite into that apple you plucked off the forbidden tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden, you are applephobic liao? Hehe! Just kidding..

Mon. Apple pies ar? I'm not really an apple pie fan. Don't like the cinnamon in it.

at least if include othr fruitz like bananaz, orangez, mangoez, kiwiz, persimmonz, guava, etc... mayb cn stil tahan 4 a few dayz.... kekeke.... but if oni applez.... eeekkk!!! :eek:

It works as a meal replacement la! You replace your two shakes. Then you eat 1 normal meal a day. Bo pien lu!

I also bo pien lu............easy to lose weight.....get ur self fall for a person......next when its doesn't workout.....u loss appetite......foods taste nothing...insomnia follow and u got time to do house keeping as an exercises...easy as 1,2,3

2 lose weight actuali, simple principle lorrr... everytime u eat, make sure u use up all d caloriez u eat after dat.... dun eat after 8.30 pm n schedule all ur exercise 2 nite time.... kekekeke.... :D

I read somewhere recently that if you want to see yrself the thinnest in a week, go without the following for a Week:
No salt, no starch food, no potatoes, no noodles, no bread, no rice and no pasta. I can do all the rest but not the salt bit. But I do have friends who just by cutting out rice actually lost a lot weight. Hope it is of some help.

Gosh... Nichol. I'm just like you. I love Salt and can never go without it. Imagine non-salted maggie, or non salted veg.... cannot leh... the food will be tasteless leh. Unless, can substitute with soya sauce or fish sauce :D

Cutting down on carbo n starchy stuff is a good idea. :)

been a long time didn't come here :p

I used to follow some method of diet which I found in the internet. it's from a person called Dr. Atkins

basically how it work is you should minimise your carb intake to 15-20g a day

that means no pasta,no rice,no potato and of course no sugar whatsoever cos all of them are high in carb,also no fruit allowed.

after the first 2 weeks you went on you can add another 5g of carb to your diet which makes it 25g and thereafter every 2 weeks you can add 5g.

the good thing is you can eat everything else as much as you want.
for breakfast I would eat 3scrambled egg with cheese fried in butter(nightmare for those in diet :p ) and for lunch susage and ham and for dinner beaf or chicken aaaaaaaaaall fried :rolleyes:

but amazingly I lost 1kg every 2 days

that was the best diet I ever had :D

hamid... you actually weight the amount of carbo that you take? How come fruits cannot ar? Cos of the carbo in it?

I don't weight the amount of carb :p I mean you can't extract it and weight it

what I did was when I go to supermarket,instead of checking the price, I checked the nutrition facts. most of the products have it. and for my tea I used artificial sweeteners. but remember no to take them much

no fruit becuse they contain high level of carb,

there is actually a table of what you eat and what you don't as well as a carb counter
