i got ps1, ps2, dreamcast, xbox..

bought those just for playing the games that i enjoy that aren't available on the other console..

for example, Gran Turismo and Metal Gear series on the PS1&2, dreamcast (hmm..probably cause it was cheap and because of the 'seaman' game), and xbox coz it's moddable..

Have you folks tried this Flipnic-Ultimate Pinball? It's kinda childish but has this cute 3-D effect. Relaxing game of pinball. Try it!

have a PS2, projected to a 6.5 foot wide screen, used mostly by my boys playing kiddy games like ninja turtle, pokemon etc...they also have a gameboy...

I only use the ps2 to play gran turismo 4 with logitech driving force feedback gt4 steering wheel, used to play it often when i first bought the steering wheel... now seldom... still in acquiring international-A license stage after 6 months plus... stressed...

mimosa

Wow cool big screen! What projector are you using? What do you use for sound?

monza

projector = infocus screenplay 4805, connected using composite video.

sound connected to a surround amp using digital optic line, with 6.1 speaker output. great sound esp the sound of engine roaring when playing gt4...

cool game...very real driving physics when u're playing it. it kinda sucks to watch tho cos it seems very slow unlike need for speed most wanted.

we can't get the super license :(
hate the coffee breaks

think i'm gonna buy hitman...any other recommendations?

Finished it on my Xbox. Better graphics but somehow Burnout 2 was more fun. It is still a good game to play.

So why did the PS2 succeed? What mattered to consumers was that it provided incredible entertainment value for the entire family. While Nintendo focused on its big-name, kid-friendly franchises and the Xbox resonated with the PC-centric acne crowd that love their games violent and bloody, the PS2 had something for everyone. Sports, action, racing, kids' products, karaoke, the EyeToy camera, and, yes, virtual bloodshed—all could be found on the PS2. This was the game system for the masses, which, in its prime years, sold in the very consumer-friendly $800 price range.

wait for the launch of $ony PS3 and Nintendo Wii next month, only then the real next gen war has begun. PS3 vs Wii Vs Xbox360...
I'll bet Sony will lose the console war this time with it overpriced PS3 and also due to their iron-fisted method of shoving the Blue-Ray into the consumer's throat.
I'll say Nintendo and Micro$oft will win the market together, with $ony tailing far behind.

those who like RPGs will thoroughly enjoy Final Fantasy 12 when it's available next week. another cool unique game that just came about is called Okami. for me, i seldom find time to play. :(

Okami's visual design instantly stands out, but it turns out to be just one of many inspired aspects of this impressive action adventure game.

The Good: Some of the best visuals of any PS2 game; unique "celestial brush" system adds interesting twists to exploring and combat; epic-sized quest will take you more than 30 hours to finish; good amount of side quests and minigames add lasting value.

The Bad: Combat is a little too easy overall; lots of text dialogue but no speech.

one of my friend suggested to me on one new game called valkyrie profile 2 on ps2... according to him it sounds nice... i wonder anyone here tried it b4??? on the other hand i got myself to tried FF12... its awesome!!! i think i will certainly get a copy of tat (dunno if i got the time to finish it though???) n the problem now is tat i'm not sure if i should buy FF12 or Valkyrie Profile 2... since both of them are RPG... i guess i wont be able to finish both... have to choose one... Mmm...

PSP games are kinda limited compared to Nintendo DS Lite, I'll suggest to get a NDS Lite which has tonnes of games to play and most of them are fun too!
Not to mention NDS is cheaper than PSP.
Just get an NDSL for around RM550-RM580, plus a Supercard Lite and a 1gb microSD card for about RM300 plus for the unlimited games you can download from internet ;)

anyway... even if Nintendo DS is not so canggih compared to PSP, but it's game fun factor are 100X of PSP ;)
Maybe due to its touch screen interface, makes it more fun and interactive to play.
