Here it is folks.. The Suggested Venue.. Vote carefully. And if you want to promote your suggestion, please feel free to add comments or pictures. The polls will close on the 25th of JUNE 2006. Should there be a tie, a short 5 days polls will be taken as a tie breaker.

All McD does free refill but not a good idea cause it's bad for ya. Also, I think fast food joints are a good choice cause they owner will not give you black face.

Yep, that's the two most popular place now. And easy to find as well. Most of us all have already knew the place. So is not so hard on giving directions to others who don't know. Just tag along or like chin_wan says .. get a cab! Haha .. :)

Don't mind firefly promoting a bit..think Kalifah is more sutiable. More space as it is a corner shop...unless Pondok starts putting tables, chairs and fans on the road as well, we may take up all their avaliable space for the TT session :eek:

Don't worry Flyover, most of us only eat Nuts and drink Tea. Why do you want to live to be 110? going at a ripe 70+ would be enough for firefly. Don't want to burden them lil'fireflies too much with all the medical problems. :D

Firefly, Khalifah there is a good place but don't forget this coming 1st Friday TT is on 7 July, which means World Cup not over yet. A lot of ppl goes there earlier than us. And its packed. Were there yesterday, thats why I know.

On the other hand, Pondok there, not so packed, can get parking, can get good place to seat, no need to be there so early. Just my opinion too.

Might not be able to join you guys this round. So you guys have fun ya. ;)

Looks like a tie is coming up with Khalifah and Pondok - I believe we should give some weight to Kokomo's suggestion whatever the result between that 2 places.

SS19flyover - you have not been regular to our TT - we usually ask for "kurang kurang manis" or "kosong". And to be sure we get more of the brew, we'd also say "kurang ais". And we don't eat the mamak's oily food (hence the long faces at the previous joint).

Anyway, I was at Pondok Satay last nite watching World Cup (Jpn VS Croatia), Big screen LCD projector, nice satays, delicious ice kacang, a cozy & comfy environment with good service. Not bad at all.. :)

Firefly, I suggest you bring your family test out Pondok Satay for the place and food and everything first then come back and post your views in here. Then following nite, you go Khalifah there sit near the drain , smell if you can smell it or not? Hehe ... I wait for your answer here ya. ;)

Err...a group of us was at the Pondok Satay yesterday night...phooi yoh quite crowded with football fans...n the guys there got their hands full...trying to serve the crowd...n the place is kinda cramp a bit wor...but should be allright with a small TT group...

Err...Orchi is surprised...how come nobody recommended Syed Bistro which is located opposite of Court 3...behind the MetroBus Depot in USJ8...

Orchi stopped by that place to join a forumer n his family for a break...during last night ronda ronda...

1. ICE Kachang is good - topped with ice cream...
2. Satay taste good - with loads of cucumber n bawang...
3. Chicken chop is good - with tonnes of french fries n stuffs...
4. Service is good
5. Plenty of TVs
6. Place is quite kleen
7. Parking is a breeze
8. not too crowded
