clownfish, hope you don't mind me calling you that. Have you sold off those pair of crutches? No, I don't need them but if you have not sold them off by now, why not give them away to some of the homes where many of them could use them. I don't mind collecting them from you for the Bangsaria Training Centre which currently have 14 heaviliy handicapped children ranging from 5 years old to 20. On 3rd June 2006, they shifted to Section 12 PJ. I have been helping them out in whatever way I can since they were in Bangsar. I notice one of the boys' crutches are in a bad condition. His parents are too poor to replace them. Please PM me if you are agreeable and I can pick them up.

Bangsaria is a non-profit training and day care centre for children who are visually, mentally and/or physically handicapped as well as those with behavioural problems. The Centre caters for children suffering from cerebral palsy, epilepsy, hip dislocation, severe mental retardation, anarthira (speech disability), autism and spastic tetraplegia (incapable of standing without support). These children come from families of mostly lower income levels and represent all ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.

The link for more information is www.hati.org.my and SEARCH for Bangsaria. The direct link is down since we moved.

People in this forum can be very generous. Mentime before I received any response from clownfish, I received a PM from a regular forumer telling me that should I failed to get the crutches if it has been sold, she will buy a new one for the boy. Also a SMS came at 6pm says that he will pay the RM 40 to clownfish and hand the crutches to me. Well everybody, clownfish has finally found Nemo. She PM me saying that I can pick up the crutches for free for that boy who deserves to have them. They belong to a friend of hers. Next time should I lose both of my legs, I know I can still walk the streets of Subang Jaya and USJ.
