Anyone know of the cost of acquiring a birth control pill (1 month supply) and the consultation cost with a doctor. Do recommend a reputable doctor dealing with birth control pills, if any. Thanks.

Gee. Why post this topic here?
Ask a doctor.

Very good suggestion. Why not consult the professional such as your family doctor? I am afraid if we start to answer this type of question here, there are many who suffer from ED will ask about Viagra. OK for those who need to ask, pm me.

Please move this to Health section.

Hint: Approach Pharmacists then Doctors.

Any GPs can provide the cost. Another alternatives would be the pharmacist. Make a call to any of the Guardian Pharmacy.

Please visit a doctor (any GPs) first. Certain health conditions, lifestyles and age may make it dangerous for the woman to take the pill. If the woman is over 35, or smokes, or has high blood pressure, or has cysts or fibroids or has an unsuitable medical history, this may put her in a danger zone. (I'm no doctor so please check with one to be sure)

There could be different types i.e. different dosage of hormonal levels so a doctor is needed to determine its suitability. Although the pill can be purchased over the counter, these are not dietary supplements.

If birth control pills are suitable, ask the doctor for other birth control methods. PM me if you have some concerns.

Hope this helps.
