What are your views on this controversial '2 madly in love, tough, rugged Malboro guys' movie? Haven't watched it but have heard lots about it already. All that I know is that this movie is exceptionally moving and elegantly crafted, and it has beautiful shots and sceneries.

Heard that Alex and Peter went to watch the Brokeback together? hehe...

Anyway, most would tell me this show is really boring. Gonna watch it on dvd soon and will know then if it's true.

It's ok when you privately joked abt this. It's another story altogether when you publicly mentioned abt this. I'd get my lawyer, Sakaibear to sue for defamation soon. wait for his legal summon.. :p

(btw, what's your house address again?)

the movie is not too bad n it appeals to many despite the negative reviews. many do not seem to see the movie as just a movie. just like the da vinci, what is wrong in watching it.

Based on E.Annie Proulx’s short story, the theme is very common in most movies, about mismatch romances and couples. The only thing unfamiliar is that it involves two men, two married men. If one expect to learn some new kama sutra techniques from watching this movie, cowboy style – forget about it. There are more female nudity (the uncensored version) scenes than male and you do get some harsh profanity.

It’s a typical troubled-relationship movie, using cowboy language dealing with the theme “if you can’t fix it, you got to stand it” – anyone who has been in love, gay or otherwise, might be able to relate to either one of the two main characters, Ennis (quiet one) or Jack (extrovert). It does not have a gay agenda, as some may have suggested. Instead it is the opposite, as they both deal with the fact on why they can’t be together - a mournful love story indeed.

Just watched it last nite. Call me old fashioned but I just couldn't get used to seeing 2 guys in an intimate relationship... But it was indeed a meaningfully moving story. The sceneries? Breathtaking.... :)

My fault. Was just kidding. Apologies to Peter. Let's not digress any further and stay on track. Thanks :)
