Jonker Street, is the only place that I can wonder around for hours without feeling bored. I feel like I'm back to the 1800 every time I visit this antique street.

The sewing mechine is the model my mother used to repair my school uniform when we are kid. If I'm not mistaken the brand is singer too :)

Try out Baba House which is located at Hereen Street beside Jonker Street. Hey!! in future we should organise trip cum photography during weekend. I have long time put aside my cameras. Plan to try out again ever since I switch career path.

Anthony,
You can send your slides to the shop, they can scan it beautifully for you.

How much would it cost for a slide??

scan cost should be less than rm1 per slide.
but shoot slide and scan it into jpeg is a waste of time.

Those slides I had was shot at least 10 years ago in Melaka. Some of the landscape, buildings and artifacts are not available in Melaka now. Huge difference.

I hail from Temple Street - a road parallel to Jonker Street!
Glad to see that my neighbourhood is drawing some attractions from members of USJ.com!

Balik kampung, I m gonna balik kampung!

Yah, in Jonker Walk, that's where you can jalan-jalan, makan-makan on weekends!

Welcome to my hometown, Melaka!
