Perhaps I grumble too much when I should be more content. Perhaps I should be more patriotic that the gormen still deemed it necessary for my race to appear in every gormen form I filled, instead of just Malaysian. Perhaps, my forefathers were to be blamed for choosing this country when there are fellow countrymen who can comment that it was unfortunate.

No longer do I need to wait for a sign from God as historically, most of the signs he gave are either something heavy dropping from the sky or via bolts of fire. I am glad the waiting is over – no, God did not give the sign. Someone generous did – in fact, even volunteer to pay 50% of my air ticket and all those who share similar intentions. After all, I am from the 2005/2006 bunch, who if can't even contribute to this community, what more to say about the nation.

All I need now is some directions on where to send my bank account number and the invoice to. I am certain I can contribute to that.

Hello kiddo. how do rate our country to be the best? What age are you..18 or 19? You got long way to go young man. Like the saying goes, 'you are too young to smoke'. There are lots of areas for malaysia to improve and right now it is moving slowly, but no one can dare say we have the best country.

I agree with you on this matter. As much as we like M'sia , there are some locals & also tourist who comes and live in M'sia pollute our mother nature here. There are 2 sides of example for this.

First, the bad side of M'sia .. just look at PD (Port Dickson) .. sea water there so brown and dirty. Same goes to Sg Gombak, Klang River & etc.

Secondly, here comes the nicer view of M'sia which I've just went there for holiday .. Redang Island. Water so clear, air so fresh & things are expensive'lah. Not to mention it is being protected by Marine Park .. I mean the whole island.

This is the first time you talked some real good sense. Well done and keep it up. I am sincere in my compliment.

Hello kwchang. Actually what wrong did vsat do? He didnt even slam anyone specifically. It is his personal thots of anyone who complain so much of the country he is staying might as well pack and leave. He has a valid point there and he is thinking aloud. So why give him banana? :confused:

You have a serious problem when it comes to being objective. I said vsat was right in his general observation of quality of posts nowadays. I beg to differ. That was still vsat's viewpoint even though it was strong. He got a banana for it. Why is it that Jose, Joe, Kokomo and Jian who made fun of him and insulted him did not get bananas? I am not questioning your sublime skills as a moderator. Just wanting a clarification.

I would differ from your view as well. I wasn't teasing him but was asking him to clarify exactly what tickets he meant and whether really sounded sincere in offering to pay half price for a ticket. You see, most of us are very curious when he mention it that way. It sound like sarcarsm and also degrading other forumers in here as well. I may sound like teasing him but definitely not an insult. I have grounds to suspect that hitchcock is just another nick used by the same person that had been coming on with other nicks in the past 2 days.

Their agenda are very clear to me.
They just dislike all these youngsters coming in and making so much noise in the forum. Let me make my point clear -

This is a public forum and it makes no sense to tell the youngsters to go somewhere else just because the forum seems too noisy. i am willing to give them a chance to make good here. The freedom to make noise is in the chatterbox. I know, they sometimes forget and spill-over to the main forum. However, we need not go undercover to create uneasiness here. I hope to steer them whenever I catch the spill-over. I guess some people have less patience.

To those people who disagree with me, I am sorry if you cannot get back your previous Shangrila. Things change. Our community change. We must have a succession plan. We will not be here tomorrow. My hope is to nurture a group of responsible citizens to take over the Forum one day. That cannot happen if we tell them to leave the Forum and for it to remain an exclusive enclave. As a community, we have to learn to accept change and welcome new citizens.

I will give hitchcock a chance to return in a week's time. It is up to him because he can still exist as his current nick (whomsoever he may be) without a 2nd nick.
