To solve your problems of handling trouble-makers and newbies or dubiious nicks (what you mean by that), maybe you can bring this forum private. Membership by invitation only. Maybe membership only after attending TT only.

That will solve all your problem and also Mr. Orchipalar's complains about phanton nicks (whatever he mean). If you want to maintain this a public forum, then you and Mr. Orchipalar keep complaining also no use. Better bring it private.

This is the last time I am entertaining this ...

(i) Identifying a troll is not the same as name-calling. You were argueing with Orchi, hence the banana was given. This is not equivalent to a discussion or debate. There was an obvious tone of discontent which colours the post as an arguement.
(ii) The connotation is obvious - even JoeGomez sees it. How can someone suggest a public forum to go "private" ? Is it not an insinuation that I and Orchi are forming a private club for selected members only? For that I have the right to feel INSULTED. However, I shall not let personal matters colour my decisions.
(iii) A newbie? I doubt very much. You could very well be someone from the old member group. I don't care much of new nicks as masks for old nicks. I treat everyone nick as an individual. There were a number of 'new' nicks that did come on with guns blazing last week - their posts have been removed and they were banned. You may have been one of them.

I am extra sensitive to such attacks. If anyone remotely sound like a threat to the peace of the Forum, my mode of action is to cull such threats. I am already wasting my time and stretching the patience of the other members by entertaining to your posts online.

We have one unwritten rule here. Any complaints should be directed to the admin via PM or email. If you disturb the peace of the Forum, then I am sorry, you do stand a chance of being chastised or banned.

There are rules to follow and I apologise if the way we run this forum is taken to be too sticky for your liking. That is the way usj dot com had been and will continue to be. Any place in this world can either be nice or uncomfortable, it is your choice to make it cosy or not.

I will not entertain any request for explanation from Kamikaze again as I feel my points are clear. Do forgive me for any lack of clarity as I had not the good fortune of an earlier education in a British grammer school.

Btw, u haven't click the TROLL link? Or u can search the meaning for Internet Troll under Wikipedia. What orchipalar suggested is to "not feed the troll". As in, do not coz more arguments or do not 'feed' into the argument. Eg: ignore the aggravations and continue wif the topic.

I believe it all started wif a harmless suggestion. But it is up to Kamikaze or others to clarify things further..i did post some censored text..but alas, got a warning n i replied tru PM to get explanation. A Banana doesn't mean the end of the world...its a friendly reminder..bear in mind..others were warned thru PM n they listened to the advice given..just start afresh..a clean slate..It is only by being 'recalcitrant' that sometimes Moderators have no choice but to give a Banana as a warning.. :)
