Hi all,
Where to buy different types of cheeses here? Is there a speciality cheese shop around where can get feta, brie, cottage and so on?
How to cook the long brinjal without losing its skin color? Sometimes the aftercooked color really seems blahhh.

The blahhhhh colour indicates that it has been cook. Maybe you should not overcook them?

Don't know a specialty shop but the Cold Storage at BSC has a wide range of cheeses.

I think if you blanch the brinjal first, it'll help maintain the colour.

try out those marts with high expat population for cheese
eg klcc isetan, one u jusco, curve cold storage, bangsar village grocer, hartamas shopping centre
but cold storage outlets r a good bet

About the brinjals, blanch in hot water (i.e. pour some on and drain after a few mins) in or boilinng water?

cheese lovers.. please explain the different type of cheese and how is it used/eaten...
Firefly only know Chedder slices for bread and burgers. Mozerella for Pizza, Emenantal for sauces. Cream cheese spread for bread or biscuits...what else??

Good news. We are having a new Cold Storage below Parkson in Subang Parade opening tomoro. Advertised in their flyer 80 assorted kinds of cheeses from all over the world. Apart from that some items at RM0.10 for tomoro opening only. So be early!!
