i need to know which bank offers the most convenience way to do our banking. Additionally, they should have a good customer service which we can rely to.

if i cud play with that question... :p

all banks got good customer service - if you are a prefencial customer....
meaning, deposit lots of moolah into the bank.... and you might even get a private banker to handle all your money... :p

and if you have peanuts... you get monkeys jumping all over you la... :D

- that answered your question?-

what's with the *mad* icon! you're a share holder or working for SCB? As with Sentinel, I was a customer until the manner which loan department replied to why the increase in interest rates , as thou' I hard up for the loan... told them to shaft the loan... which they promptly accepted ! This is what happens when the loan department is outsourced... the banks gets less personal with the customers.
As to the loan - they promptly got a cheque for the outstanding amount... ! They must have thought I cud not redeem the loan... Kapuiiit! Never gonna do business with that bank anymore....

Arab Malaysian Bank, SS2. Service perfect. Open on every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month. They stressed a lot on their internal SLA. (Service Level Agreement) A number of times, I saw The Branch Manager approaching the customers to check whether they are attended promptly and satisfy with the services provided.

There was a similar thread before . search for it. BEst customer service are certainly not those GLC companies/banks . Most people voted Public bank.

Thank you for your feedback on the area of disssatisfaction .. and no offence intended ... most customers tend to stereotype a bank just becuase of one/two unfavourable experiences .. banks nowadays try their best to please but 'policies' are policies ..

sabaidee ..

Taipan Public Bank memang sux in fact all Public Bank. I close my acc from there ages ago.

Must agree that SCB does have quite a number of divisions being outsourced. Which is not a very healthy practice for themselves as well as customers that trust & invested in them.

Remember Phileo Allied Bank... t'was a small bank with a big heart... I still miss the level of customer service and efficiency that other can only dream about... :(

Well, am looking at diff angle Sentinel. Although they're outsourced at least many ppl still have their jobs. No cutting of heads like MAS. To some of my friends that has been using SCB loans .. they said they don't have problem with them.

I guess individuals will have diff experience with diff banks. I used to hate BCB as well as their service are far worst than SCB but then now, they seem to improve so is okay for me as well.

I think we have to learn to accept changes when the time comes. Go with the flow I presume?

In a couple of years the big boys from overseas are going to be allowed in (of course it might start as a trickle ) ... what would the likes of these inept banks do ???

IMHO if you are sued it is a fair fight ....... you threw down the gauntlet and SCB picks it up OR the other way round .
But if his forum is slapped with a suit, wld that be fair, sir ?
