Let me introduce myself :)

I'm Frankie, living in USJ 11. Was searching the net regarding 'streamyx' and stumbled upon this wonderful forum. Nice to see an e-community around my area!

All the details? Stupid idea. It is just like applying for a housing loan. Details like this fall in wrong hands very dangerous. It should then be applied to all members and I will agree.

167cm, 65kg (too fat), works in cyberjaya, just shared a bachelor hse in usj.
Age mid30s. Single & looking for company (age doesn't matter,prefers older women anyway), gym goer, music & clubbing rank high on my list. Budget travelling is another obsession. Loves mountain & cool air.

Chang, I think our homepage of usj.com can create this Newbie / Newcomer Welcome Corner .. from there they can just click and come in direct. What do you think of that? But you decide .. then can proceed faster. Throw this thread there and everyone can avoid debating on their points of view here. Clearly state there for welcoming newbies only. Agree?

Is this invitation open to everybody??? I also don't want to veer from topic but this I must share with everybody. In the final Biology exam , Sunny Boy was asked to state 3 good reasons why mother's milk is better that Dutch Lady. Hastily, he wrote that mother's milk is full of nutritions as point one and for point two he stated that they are easily dispensible and delivered in the most hygenic way. Then he ran out of point and was cracking his head. He even thought of giving a call to Sasha when the bell rang. And with a smile on his face, he wrote down point number 3 - "And mother's milk comes in two cute little containers."

CONGRATULATIONS KelvC & LMei. But KelC, you still can join us in the teh tarik session lah. Just don't bring back to feed the baby.

Some of you may remember that I address the issue of some people taking up too much social space in another thread. Some of you probably took notes but I feel that we need to raise this level of awareness again and sooner, especially to new friends so that we can get back to addressing more "selious issues" like No Religion.

The problem is when new friends go out of their way to be rude, and they then get upset when others say they are rude. If you go out of your way to be impolite and discourteous by your words, then, you must expect to be sent to the plantation. It is the basic law of usj.com.

There is a social protocol you need to adopt. For example, if you choose to call something stupid, then, you really must expect to be called stupid in return. It is Newton’s law, I believe. And frankly, you shouldn’t choose to be rude in public as it makes you the centre of attention when there is no reason to be.

It’s not that one shouldn’t call someone a wuss (although there are many who deserves that title), it is just that you shouldn’t do it directly in public. And it is not that you shouldn’t call some statements stupid (we could make a case where many comments indeed are), it is just not the decorum here.

You shouldn’t be doing all these things because you draw attention to yourself which doesn’t need to be drawn. This makes other people having to notice you. I don’t know about you but I already have a lot of other things to notice - watts hike, new babies, breastfeeding and of course, No Religion.

Agreed! Bickering on the forum does no good. Go do it in person if necessary.
But, of course, the topic of breastfeeding should be in another thread or risk getting PM'ed by KWChang. It is a rather serious subject that should be paid much attention to by both new parents. A healthy baby is a happy baby.
