Datin, sorry but isn't that a bit on the high side... for a Wira 1.5GLi (A)...

A Waja 1.6 (A) end 2000 would fetch about 27~28K, at best. Then again, sometimes - cars are one difficult item to buy or sell... its all LUCK.

agree. it's all LUCK, for the right seller to meet the right buyer... :)

well, not so sure bout the price really, am just helping her to put up the price she intends to sell and is open for neg...

btw, saw an ad in the star for waja 1.6 (A) 2000, selling price is 34.5k... funny huh??

Wow... if you're interested - I wanna sell my Waja 1.6 (A) Premium (faux leather seats + 6 CD Changer!) with 4 brand new Michelin tyres ( end Feb2006), shocks, new timing, alternator and aircon belts, re-gassed aircon compressor !!! Interested... Only RM33K... :p

Unfortunately - all the second hand dealers are only offering me RM28K :( Fact is - if I pushed that car in the Klang River, I'd probably get more from insurance than selling it...

hahahha... you are such a joker... :p

you're true about the price of the second hand car dealer is offerring now... as my fren, the proud owner of a 1.5 wira, was offerred only 22k by the dealer, therefore decided to sell it directly to the buyer and hopefully can fetch more money eventhough she has to go thru the hassle of selling it...

if you can find a buyer, sell it off directly (you might be able to get 33k huh! :D ), not to the dealer as the market is so uncertain now the dealer would want to take in car at the lowest price possible...

and shuuhhhh... (whispering) pusing the car into the klang river, is exactly what my fren wanna do... ;)

logic, the dealer propably cannot sell it for more than 33k also, so he wld work for charity paying you 33k, wouldn't he?

A friend of mine, just got a 3 yrs old car for RM28K. And its a second hand ya.

Now car price drop kinda drastically everywhere. Can't really expect a 2000 yr old car to be sold at RM33K.

I wonder if the interest for second hand car at 4.9% is it consider a good rate already?

depends on whether its a 3 yo iswara, wira or whatever car leh... cant say a 2000 car wont fetch 33k, if it is a waja and you're selling it directly to the buyer, it's possible... car dealer is still taking 2000 waja at 28k (buffer for price drops)... but it's dropping again soon...

not sure bout interest though... :o

My friends' car is a 3 yr old Wira. For RM28k ... I think it's reasonable. And the car is in good condition. Well tinted, new tyres, roadtax till next year, timing belt changed & just been service.

As for Waja, I think can fetch more than RM33k .. if its well maintained. Otherwise, the price would even be lesser than a Wira or Iswara car.

ya what!..please tell your fren - only place left, is the Klang river. But have to do it after drive past puchong/sri kembangan vicinity... any place before puchong and the car will not sink deep enough for it to "hilang"... heavy silt.. :D

btw, tell your fren to forget the mining pools... too many pushed in there oredi :D :D :p

hahahha... might wanna visit the klang river one day... :D

last heard from my fren, her car is sold! not bad, quite fast actually... an agent helped her to find a buyer... sold at 24k but she has to pay the agent a bit lah... anyway, it's still better than selling it to the dealer loh... ;)
