Hi all,

I like taking pictures but am a very lowly amateur only... :) How do I attach photos to my post? Can't seem to figure it out.

Hi Cloud, try this.
Click > Reply to thread > Scroll down to > Additional Options > Attach Files > Click > Manage Attachments > Upload the image files from your hard disk.

Hope this helps. :)
Have a nice day!

That's how your reply will look like when you use 'manage attachments'.

As for me, I use > http://imageshack.us/ to attach images here.
When you use the 'direct link' option, your image will look like this:
Or you can use the 'thumbnail' and the many other various options.
Try and play around with it and see if it works.

01. Click Browse > to upload an image from your hard disk > Click 'host it'

02. Copy any one of the options available. I use the last one ' Direct link to image'

http://img76.imageshack.us/img76/6016/02wimageshack2nq.jpg

03. Then paste it to this box.

04. Click this circled icon to open the above box.

Hope this helps.
If you still blur-blur, then bring your notebook to any mamak stall in usj, buy me a nescafe tarik and I'll show you step by step. :)

If no notebook, then I'll go to your house and you blanja me angmoh-leongchar. :)

Or you come my house then you pay me RM168.88 :D

If anyone of you post direct links so that the picture appears onscreen in the Forum, please note one very important criterion -

Ensure that the image is not large (as in size of the document in MBytes, not in width). With pictures sized in the MBytes region, some viewers would have to wait for the picture to download - that takes time and it turns people off.

Hence do not post huge images onscreen.
You have been warned ... if you tried that and I get a complaint, I will remove the hyperlinks.

Please be aware that most pictures are copyright material or at least the owner needs to be contacted to obtain permission to reproduce them off their website.

Any pictures linked or displayed should be only from your own source or from public domain galleries that allow you to use the pics freely.

When I am unsure if the pics have any copywrite limitations, I will remove the pictures and their links. It is not my job to determine if the pics are public domain. If you think they are, please put a note to declare it yourself - in which case you become liable for any violations.
