Dont worry, Im not into fine-art photography. yet. :)
So there are no subliminal messages in my pix.
I made the nice contrasting colours of the boat the theme.

I wonder if people only consider pictures should include a human posing? I actually preferred the 2nd picture because of its artistic composition and the opportunity of finding a scene with contrasting colours.

Pictures, like art, should evoke emotions and sensations in the viewer. Both the pics here do that. That is the skill of photography. Hence, the normal tourist pics where grandma leans against the Great Wall is not necessarily artistic but more of a remembrance piece. That is a personal picture for the sake of fond memories. Things that go into art galaries are more than the vacation pic.

I do agree the colour contrast are nice but the boat was somewhat, crop unevenly.

look at the water carefully..then you will know...i kinda like the 2nd pic..

The FIrst is NIce.. like the sea wave texture and tone ;)

The second one also nice, i can actually see the little round circles forming out of water droppings ... nice one :cool:
